After traveling to 25+ countries, this is what I realized:
What sticks are the interactions with the people you meet along the way, not just the tourist destinations.
Itās the store clerk in a 7/11 shop.
Itās meeting a stranger in a restaurant.
Itās the people in the surf break.
But it starts with you.
You have to be open and willing to interact, to understand each personās story without judgment.
Baby steps.
Finally, breaking the inertia of not posting a video for like a month.
But the first step is always the hardest⦠so Iām just getting the ball moving even if itās the wrong direction.
How yall been?
Morning movement in the Costa Rican jungle.
Itās hard to not wake up early when you got howler monkeys at 5 A.M. So you naturally just head over to the most beautiful place and start moving.
This happens every 2 weeksā¦
@flyedelweiss flights just always happen to be going where I want to go.
Costa Rica for a surf? Check.
Board included? Check.
Letās go. Yeeuuiii
Itās the most logical and illogical decision ever.
on the one hand itās a no brainer:
Why not trust yourself with the challenges that lie ahead?
Why not fail faster and more often then others?
Why not reap the rewards of uncertanty, risk and becoming self-sufficient?
on the otherhandā¦
Who am I to go against the grain?
Why should I take this extra effort uppon me?
What if I am wasting valuble years and falling behind?
Nevertheless, there is only one way to find out and what makes the better story in the end is what counts.
What āriskyā decision are you holding out on?
