“No Guarantee” - This song is for anyone who’s thinking of taking a leap. I wrote it before Kara and I got married, before we’d met the snacks. Long before we moved to Colorado. It seems to grow more relevant with time. Even now it’s still a trip to hear Kara sing what I write.
The Snacks welcomed “No G”into our songbook right away and it’s been a live heater every performance. Prolly helped we let SchineDawg & Flip go insane on it…I hope you guys dig it.

Hey friends— tonight is the last Denver show for @thehipsnacks in ’25 and I’m just feeling really grateful for the people in this band, and for all my friends who keep showing up for us
The music grind sucks sometimes (often really) but I’m so thankful for Ben, Kara, Ricky, Schini, and Felipe for constantly reminding me that no matter how much the shitty parts suck, playing music with your friends will always be an even greater, irreplaceable joy. This has been one of my favorite years of playing drums that I can remember, and there’s no way that would be possible if I didn’t really love you all, and all of the time we’ve spent together this year both on the road and at home. Yall are the best
To anyone who hosted us this summer on tour, or bought a ticket to a show, or listened to our music, or even just had kind things to say— thank you so much, it really does mean the world. This summer was an absolute blast and I still miss it to be honest. But I’m really excited for this show tonight, and I’m really excited for our second album to come out next year, and I’m just really appreciate to everyone who comes out to the shows and makes it all worth it ❤️

Weekend 3- Roanoke, VA Floyd, VA (Floydfest! Saturday and Sunday) back in Denver ~July 30

Once a year I get to play a show with my best friends, where I get to call any song I want. I get to have a mic and say dumb stuff between songs, and I can put my name on a poster, and for me it’s all just the best thing ever. I love playing drums but it gets lonely at the back of the stage sometimes!
This year I’ll be joined on stage by 17 of my favorite people, which is completely absurd, and I am here for it ☺️

When Kara and I moved here two years ago, putting out an album seemed so far away. We feel incredibly fortunate that on 6.14.24, we get to share “What Lies Ahead”, songs we’re so lucky to have written with the rest of The Hip Snacks.
We’ll be performing at @lostlakedenver along w/ @toastdenver and @vada.music and we can’t wait to share all our new music with you!
