Myself and Sam are proud to announce that our play ‘Subsidence’ (formerly Yma o Hyd) will be returning to the stage for one night only at The Union Theatre, London on 3rd June 2026.
After a successful run last year in South Wales, and a lot more research and development since, we’re really looking forward to bringing it back and introducing the work to a new audience.
A big thank you to Neri & Holmes for producing and the wonderful Michael Neri for taking on the reins as director.
Tickets are now on sale via the theatre’s website. Link in bio.

—————-
SUBSIDENCE is a gripping one-act play, written by Dylan Duffield and directed by Michael Neri. It follows two strangers trapped in the aftermath of a mining explosion, set during the final days of the Welsh mining industry. As they fight to survive, an unexpected connection begins to form, revealing the hidden struggles of men facing a changing world, their inner battles, and the weight of family.
Starring Duffield as Aled and Sam Locke (28 Years Later) as Rhodri, and inspired by true stories passed down through generations, SUBSIDENCE is a raw and powerful exploration of resilience, identity, and what remains in the dark.
