On the set of The Killer, Directed by Master John Woo. I have been a fan of his work for the past 30 years. With films like A Better Tomorrow, The Killer, Hard Boiled and Face/Off on his resume it was a privilege and an honor it be on the set for one of the greatest Action Directors of all time.
Special recognition to
@nathalieemmanuel . She took on the responsibility of this role as a true professional. At times rehearsing up to 5 days a week, 4 hours a session. Her hard work paid off. Watch out for this woman, she’s going to be the next action star if she’s not already.
@vincent_bouillon was the French Stunt Coordinator. One of the most level headed coordinators I’ve worked with especially when the heat is on. He’s not only talented, creative and knowledgeable, he’s also a beautiful human being. He leads by example, if you don’t believe me just watch his SUV hit and stair fall in John Wick 4.
Preparation is always key to a good shoot and the stunt doubles and core stunt team made it happen. From endless hours of rehearsals to endless hours of previz each and every person brought their A game and delivered. I could not have asked for a better group of stunt professionals. Thank you!!! “ONE MORE!!!!”

A special shout out to my assistant
@trevorsmorgan . With his help, I was able to take a step back and watch the sequences evolve as a whole. He also did a fantastic job playing one of the hitmen in the Hospital sequence.
Usually there’s only one captain manning the ship but in this situation we had two, Gregg Smrz and
@Smrzy . Both steering the ship through rough and turbulent waters. Getting us from point A to B and when they spotted the iceberg up ahead they masterfully pulled the team together and avoided catastrophe. I thank them for the opportunity.
I also want to thank
@shirleysmrz who was there every morning before we left for battle, always with her words of encouragement. A great way to start each and everyday!!
