Peace Bell 🔔 Austria📍
Everyday at 5pm, the sound of peace rings through the Austrian Alps. A deeply moving occasion and one that I hope never stops.
In our world of constant flux and overwhelming media noise, this 5 minutes of daily reflection on the horror of war and the hope to end all conflicts feels like something we should all do as we strive for peace.
The immense sound from Mösern Peace Bell really hits all parts of the body and I felt able to release everyday noise and truly contemplate.

Lake Bled 🚣 Slovenia📍
The blue sapphire gem of Slovenia’s Julian Alps, Lake Bled is just simply an absolute beauty.
For people watching, it is probably one of my most favourite places! Such a relaxing vibe yet full of life - a joy to see people full in love with this lake and its sights by gentle strolls, two wheels trips or ventures out on the water.

Safe passage ⛰️ Tyrol📍
The road south to Innsbruck taken from the top of Ehrenberg.
This highway acts as main artery of flow through the mountain on the western side of Austria. When I drove down it, it was pretty chocka with lorries, campervans and flatbeds filled with logs!
But what a view driving down - no better place to stop for traffic 😂

Olympic Park 🏟️ Munich📍
The Olympic Games is the iconic world sporting event.
But what is the most iconic stadium built for a modern games?
For me, it is the Olympiastadion in Munich built for the 1972 summer games.
It was amazing to finally visit it in May and wonder about the park. The pleasant surprise being it was a bank holiday in Bavaria so everyone was out enjoying the day.
It is a lovely part of the city and has a great view of Munich from the hill top!

All mighty 🏔️ Austria📍
Can you spot the cross? On the odd peak and hiking trail in Tyrol there are many Christian symbols guiding worshippers. On this route a cross stands at the edge of a high peak.
I’m not a religious man, but it is quite moving to know people hundreds of years ago found solace in seeing these symbols as they journeyed through the Alps.
No matter what your belief, a hike through the alps over many days would be seriously tough without the faith that you could reach the other side!
