We helped one of our event clients open a ‘one weekend only’ London pop up for US based ‘Saie’ make up last weekend. As well as producing and installing a bespoke 140sq ft of ‘checkerboard’ floor, we helped create a ‘Soft Serve Parlour’ store front with a striped vinyl awning and kiss cut logo branding to the doors and windows. See 6hrs of installation in the driving rain take place in just under 40 seconds! In association with Bombay Sapphire and Baz Luhrmann this interactive event is showcasing the talents of the world first ultra realistic AI robot…who paints, as well as celebrating all the beauty that people see and in the world. London Fashion Week always sees us even busier on Bond Street than usual. We turned Moncler Bond St a bright shade of ‘Genius Yellow’ at the end of last week to help mark the huge ‘Art of Genius’ show happening at London Olympia tonight. Large lightboxes are always a striking way for retailers to enhance their products instore. Although the vast majority of these are now stretch fabric in design, luxury shoe retailer Baudoin and Lange utilise Opal backed duratran lightboxes. Earlier this month was the Television and Radio Industries Club’s (TRIC) annual Christmas Lunch at The Londoner and we were asked to design, produce and install the graphics for the event, including several freestanding Press Walls. We love the fact that our event work takes us to some amazing venues, and they don’t get much more beautiful than Guildhall in London. We helped one of our event clients create a ‘Prince Caspians Castle’ stage backdrop for this years ‘Save The Children Gala’. The cut to shape MDF background was 9m x 7m and we produced similarly cut to shape graphics that fitted the clients construction perfectly over a number of vinyl drops. We also produced and installed a set of foreground ‘Rocks’ in the same style to complete the stage set.
