Pink Lady Slipper’s (Cypripedium acaule) are Back!! A species of flowering plant in the orchid family that are endangered & illegal to pick in Massachusetts. Two season ago we cleared back leaf litter further from the roadway to find a small colony developing. Keeping the area secret will ensure its growth in hopes that the few plants will create a carpet of beauty in the woodlands for everyone to enjoy!
