For many years, the Downtown Woonsocket Collaborative has been leading efforts to rejuvenate their beloved central commercial district through participation in Main Street America and the implementation of the Four Points Approach. Join us for a walking tour and discussion led by DWC Chairperson, Garrett Mancieri, to learn about all of the exciting developments in the City and the DWC’s programs and initiatives. (For a sneak peek, check out their 2023 Smart Growth Leadership Award.) Meet at Market Square (there is a large parking area here, look for Ye Olde English Fish & Chips) and come dressed comfortably for walking as we’ll be visiting multiple stops throughout the downtown area. The tour portion of the event will culminate at River Island Art Park at 6:00 PM for the start of the free Levitt Amp outdoor concert featuring Chris Pierce with Ike Dee. #mainstreetri #growsmartri
