This fabric was gifted to me by my mother-in-law. What started as me simply creating outfits to wear to work turned into an entire collection.
While wearing one of my designs at work, I met the CEO of Michigan Fashion Week showed her my work—and that moment led to me securing two slots in her upcoming shows.
I later submitted my designs to several production houses for New York Fashion Week, and that same gift from my mother-in-law has opened doors I once only dreamed of.
What was given in love became a key to purpose—and proof that sometimes the seed you’re handed is already carrying your future.
