There’s a reason one of Nikola Jokic’s most famous statements is “I played in Serbia brother” when asked by a journalist if he was intimidated by getting booed by a crowd in Miami.
Sports in Serbia is beyond the imagination of someone that isn’t from the region or hasn’t visited the country themselves, it’s truly a way of life, pure passion, competition and a desire to win.
There’s something in the water here that breeds sporting excellence and madness.
And in Belgrade, when Red Star and Partizan meet, you’re bound to experience something unique every time. Even when on the pitch disappoints, off it, it rarely does. 🔥

An 8-7 loss but an incredible experience nonetheless, wave after wave of Diego Costa, Hazard and Marcelo attacks is something out of a part time goalkeepers nightmare that I will definitely not forget anytime soon.
