And just like that I’m 40 whole years old. Thank you to everyone who came to celebrate it with me and made it a really lovely day full of lovely humans. I feel very loved. Special thanks to @clbenso89 for literally showering me in presents (40 of them!) and decorating everywhere beautifully. Time for a nice sit down and a cup of tea I think ☕️

Today was really quite special. To have Stephen Schwartz spend his day with our lovely company, listen to me play and give his insights working through this beautiful score with us was a real privilege and I feel both inspired and incredibly grateful to be part of this wonderful production. A very belated Cape Verde appreciation post. Had the most wonderful time on Sal with the most wonderful company. Beautiful beaches, lovely people and amazing breakfasts. 🏝️
