Franco Battiato è sempre stata una fonte di ispirazione per noi Voland.
La sua ricerca artistica, fondata, tra l'altro, sulla fusione, elegante e rispettosa, di diversi sound e su un'idea di musica come entità complessa, motore di dialogo interculturale, filosofico e spirituale, unito a un gusto unico per la commistione tra le arti - letteratura, pittura, poesia... - ci ha accompagnati per tutto il nostro percorso.
Oggi, 18 Maggio 2026, a 5 anni esatti dalla scomparsa del Maestro, lo vogliamo celebrare con due dei suoi pezzi più straordinari, tematicamente connessi al nostro lavoro.

WOEWARDEN from Australia are back with a new album, the natural successor to their previous work but is intentionally more visceral. Woewarden have maintained the melodic, melancholic approach to depressive black metal – inspired by the likes of Silencer, Psychonaut 4, and Insomnium— but they have injected a heavier, more abrasive edge reminiscent of the raw torment and fury of 90s Scandinavian legends like Dissection and Emperor.
