One of the biggest misconceptions we see as wedding photographers?
Couples thinking they need to “fit everything in” to 6–8 hours of coverage
But here’s what a 10-hour timeline actually gives you: • A slow, intentional morning - no rushing through getting ready
• Space for real moments (not just staged ones)
• Time for golden hour portraits without sacrificing your cocktail hour
• The ability to actually be present with your people
• A natural flow to your day - instead of constantly watching the clock
And honestly? That’s when the best photos happen. Not when you’re being pulled in five directions…
But when you finally have room to breathe. We don’t just recommend longer coverage for the sake of it - we recommend it because it changes how your day feelsAnd how your day feels is what you’ll remember forever. 🤍
If you’re starting to plan your timeline for 2026/2027,
this is your sign to build in more space than you think you need. Your future self will thank you.
Save this for later + send it to your partner 👀

Here’s the thing about choosing your wedding photographer… You’re not just hiring someone to take photos
You’re choosing the people who will stand beside you on one of the most emotional, fast-moving, meaningful days of your life.
 So hey! We’re Tim & Jess 🤍
Partners in life, and the ones behind the lens. We’ve spent years documenting weddings in a way that feels honest, editorial, and deeply personal - not overly posed, not rushed, and never disconnected from what’s actually happening.
Because we’ve been in your shoes.

We’ve planned the wedding, felt the nerves, and lived the kind of moments you’ll want to remember forever. That experience shapes everything for us.
We know when to step in and guide you - and when to step back so you can actually feel your day.
We know how to keep things calm when timelines shift.

And we know that the photos you’ll treasure most won’t be the perfectly posed ones… they’ll be the ones that feel like you.
If you’re planning a 2026 / 2027 wedding and want imagery that feels effortless, intentional, and true to your story - we’d love to be part of it.

Late summer weddings at Earth to Table Farm hit different 🌿✨
Golden light, warm air, long tables under the open sky — it’s the kind of day that doesn’t feel rushed or overly staged… just real, intentional, and full of moments you actually get to be in.
This is what it can look like when you trust the process, let go of the pressure to “perform,” and choose a wedding day that reflects you.
If you’re dreaming of something relaxed, romantic, and a little bit editorial without feeling forced — you’re in the right place. We document your day as it unfolds, so you can stay present while we capture the magic.
Now booking 2026 and 2027 weddings — head to our website to inquire 💌

did you know we include engagement sessions with all of our wedding packages as a fun way to get to know one another and get all the photo jitters out of the way before the big day ??? with summer quickly approaching we wanted to share this special engagement session from a wintery day back in January with one of our amazing September couples. we went back to where they shared their i love us for the first time and boy did it make our time together just that much more meaningful for them 🤍✨

part 2 ✌🏼 because what’s an engagement session without your third wheel 🐾✨ they brought the real star of the show — miss ruby, the golden retriever — who obviously required her own close-ups, snack breaks, and a formal proposal moment of her own (ring pop pending). we popped champagne in the park, let ruby run the timeline, and honestly? best decision ever. and of course we had to make it official for her too… can’t have her feeling left out on the wedding day! 🥂💍 proof that your session doesn’t need to fit in a box. bring the dog. pop the bubbly. make it yours.

some wedding days are a production. this one was a vibe. set at the effortlessly romantic Ancaster Mill - waterfalls, stone walls, candlelight — but the real magic? how laid back it all felt. their one big request: “we don’t want to spend the whole day taking photos.” say less. family photos were chill, mostly candid, a few gentle prompts and then back to hugging, chatting, topping up drinks. no long photo lists. no disappearing for hours. just space to actually be in the day. we kept the posing minimal, let moments breathe, and allowed the timeline to flex. and what unfolded was the good stuff- champagne mid-laugh, hands intertwined during quiet in-between moments, grandparents squeezing a little tighter. proof that when you trust the process and prioritize presence over perfection, the photos hit different. less staging. more living. exactly how it should feel. 🥂

Part 1|2 🍕✨ When couples ask if we can include multiple locations in their engagement session… the answer is always YES. Your story isn’t one dimensional — so your photos shouldn’t be either. We started this session at Shorty's Pizza — grabbing slices, stealing kisses, soaking up that nostalgic date-night energy. And this is exactly why we love incorporating your favourite spots. The places you actually spend time. The ones that already mean something. An engagement session should feel like you on your best Saturday afternoon. Not stiff. Not over-styled. Just real life — elevated. Stay tuned for Part 2 where we hit location number two 👀 #HamiltonWeddingPhotographer #OntarioWeddingPhotographer #EngagementSessionIdeas #ModernLoveStories #DurandStudios

build a timeline with breathing room.
Not a jam-packed, down-to-the-minute, “if one thing runs late we spiral” kind of timeline.
A flexible one. The kind that lets your day unfold instead of forcing it to perform.
Case in point — our best friends hosted their wedding in their own backyard. Dreamy, intimate, perfect… until the sky cracked open and it absolutely poured. I’m talking full pause. Guests under cover. Music off. Timeline? On hold. And you know what saved the day?
Wiggle room.
Because we weren’t racing a tight schedule, we could shift. We pushed portraits. Let the storm roll through. Let everyone breathe. And when the clouds cleared? The most unreal, golden, post-storm sunset showed up like it had been personally booked for them.
If the timeline had been rigid, that magic wouldn’t have happened.

Here’s the truth: weddings are alive. Weather shifts. Hair runs late. Hugs last longer than expected. When you create margin in your day, you create space for real moments — not rushed ones. A flexible timeline isn’t “unorganized.”

It’s intentional.
It’s insurance.
It’s how you stay present instead of stressed.
Build in buffer. Protect your energy. Leave room for the unexpected.
Sometimes the pause becomes the best part. 🌅

Golden hour at McMaster just hits different. ✨
These two chose campus corners that mean something, outfits that feel like home, and a vibe that’s completely, unapologetically them.
And let this be your reminder: there is zero pressure to wear white for your engagement session. Wear what you feel powerful in. Comfortable in. Recognizable in. When you look like yourself, your photos feel timeless — not trendy.
Bonus? When you skip the “bridal-only” look, your images become versatile. Save-the-dates, home prints, LinkedIn updates, anniversary posts — they don’t live and die with the wedding day.
 Your love story > any dress code. #engagementphotoshoot #mcmasteruniversity #weddingphotographer #ontarioweddingphotographer #ontariowedding

Happy Family Day Ontario 🤍 Last summer we spent the dreamiest evening down at the Burlington Waterfront hanging out under the bridge, letting the kids run wild, skipping rocks, and just being together. No stiff poses. No “everyone look at me and smile.” Just real laughs, silly faces, and wind-in-your-hair kind of memories. And then… we ended it the best way possible: go-karting together. 🏁 Here’s the thing: when you build a session around an activity your family genuinely loves, everything changes. The pressure melts away. The kids forget there’s a camera. The laughs get louder. The hugs get tighter. The moments become candid because they are candid. Photos shouldn’t feel like a chore. They should feel like an experience you’d want to have anyway. So if you’re thinking about booking a session this year, ask yourself: What would our family do for fun on a perfect evening? Let’s photograph that 🤍

There’s something extra special about this one… because 8 years ago, we stood in this very venue and said I do ourselves. 🤍 Watching another couple celebrate here in such an editorial, stylish, beautifully curated way reminded us of something we tell all of our couples: Your wedding day isn’t about rushing from timeline point to timeline point. It’s about living it. The quiet hand squeezes. The laughter you didn’t expect. The way the room feels when everyone you love is in one place. The day will fly by no matter what… but when you plan a day that’s authentic and genuinely you, something magical happens - you actually get to be present in it. You sit in the moments. You feel them. You remember them. And years later, when you look back at your photos, you don’t just see a beautiful wedding… You remember that it was the most fun, meaningful, joy-filled day of your lives. That’s always the goal. 🤍
