A few months ago, my brother and I were discussing the next chapter of his journey, how he wants to live a purpose-driven life, pursue his goals with intention, and undergo a revamp, a rebirth of the self he’s becoming. That conversation shaped the heartbeat of this shoot.
“You will serve your brother, but when you grow restless, you will break his yoke from your neck.” — Genesis 27:40
This portion of scripture speaks to the inner restlessness that will not let you settle. It is the fight, the struggle to break away from what does not serve you, so you can step into the self you are meant to become. To me, it paints a picture of transformation, shedding the old weight to rise into your place of destiny.
