Yesterday, I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Johnson & Wales University, with a Bachelorās of Science in Graphic Design!
These last four years have felt transformative, with valuable lessons coming from both inside and outside the classroom. When I look back on the young creative that first toured JWU, I realize how far Iāve come personally and professionally.
As I move forward, this isnāt an ending, but rather a beginning. With endless possibilities, Iām excited to see what comes next. Thank you JWU!š

What a day.
Yesterday was my senior capstone project, or the āReveal Senior Showcaseā as we call it. Our portfolios with our best work from the last four years sat on display, print and web formats. But the stars of the show were our wall installations. I painted mine to honor both how I got into the creative field and my talented family who taught me to express myself through artistry.
The outpouring of love Iāve felt from every branch of my community is unbelievable. In addition to being recognized for my contributions to the design department, creating the event materials and cleaning up in the gallery, I was fortunate to receive two awards: the āPrint Rockstarā and āReal-World Readyā awards, the second of which I was lucky enough to receive alongside the best friend this department has given me.
I want to thank so many people. My design professors to start. From my first day, you have always felt like friends happy to share your knowledge, and because of you Iāve always looked forward to coming to class. My family and friends, because I couldnāt have done this all by myself, and I have the best foundation. My classmates, especially those Iāve gotten to bond with over super late nights working in Bowen. Design can make you crazy, and itās been nice to have a little community to go crazy with. A special thank you to my dearest Morgan, the second half of Morgilly. I canāt imagine this year without you. And lastly I want to thank everyone who has supported me, through liking and sharing my work, coming to the showcase yesterday, being a part of my projects or for giving me freelance opportunities. I would simply have no portfolio without you.
A piece of my heart will forever belong here. Thank you for everything @jwu_design š¤

As Iām nearing the end of my time in college (and the entirety of my days are dedicated to portfolio) I have loved being able to collaborate with my peers! Luz wanted headshots that show off herself and her new brand. She brought some items to help tell her story as a creative, like this journal covered in stickers! Such a fun session!

BE LOUD & BE BOLDā¤ļøāš„
I love supporting fellow creative people! Kenzie has a super bright personality and she wanted photos that represented both her and her new brand. I love that she showed up in a pink suit to match her branding! This shoot was so fun & I loved playing Twenty One Pilots the whole time we worked togetherāØ

More of my reveal promotional materials around the gallery! This has been a dream since I was an underclassman. In the next month these walls will become filled with the work of myself and my peers, but until then, Iām so overjoyed to see my signs hanging upš¤

The Garden of Olympus - Dining with the Godsšļø
One of the neat things about attending a university renowned for its culinary and baking programs has been getting to work with those students! This project was for an advanced baking & pastry course: a five course dessert tasting inspired by Greek Mythology. The experience was intended to reflect ādining with the gods.ā The chefs made the desserts, we made their visuals! Branding, placemats, custom-cut menus, table tents, name cards, and petit four packaging.
A key feature for this project was the hand-painted gold detailing, which my partner @morganbraddockdesign and I applied to all 75 items we handed off for this project! Time lapse video at the end for a taste of the painting experience. Photos 2-7 are courtesy of the talented pastry students we worked with!
