We are Jose and Víctor, two of the four Ortiz siblings, a family of designers. We grew up surrounded by illustrated encyclopedias, audio stories on vinyl, a collection of salsa records, basketball trading cards, and medical books with images that, for children, were anything but ordinary. But there was undoubtedly something fascinating about exploring without restrictions. Our shared passion was always drawing: we started by redrawing logos of our favorite bands on cassette spines with ballpoint pens, and then created handmade DIY covers using collages, photocopies, and colored pencils. Without realizing it, all of that became a career.
With over 18 years of experience each in the design industry, we have led prominent projects in Colombia, the United States, and Europe. We have built and strengthened the identity of clothing brands, bars, restaurants, record labels, skate companies, gyms, coffee shops, and more. Today, as Dunk Studio, we focus all our experience on branding, art direction and illustration.
