Wires are a great detail to add to mechanical builds and there's a few different ways to do it
green stuff wires have different patterns and conform closely to surfaces, aluminium or wrapped wire is more uniform/consistent
there's even more like making ports to plug them into

In the process of trying to make sure the black templar elements of the mini came through, I once again went back to the classic Blanche art, and spotted a red-armoured marine waving a flag, which is where I got the idea to add the flowing banner to the omnissian axe
It's not quite a full flag, and I'm not sure what the exact idea was for that red templar, but it was some interesting inspiration for a unique element I could add to my techmarine that I'm pretty happy with

swapped the normal sisters faceplate for one from mechanicum tech thralls, used a secutarii arm and shield, and added an electro-priests collar-cog to the power pack. Now I just need to figure out a base

For the sake of the imperium-mechanicum alliance, the omnissiah is a mostly recognised aspect of the emperor right? So could there be a SoB order around on that? Or a convent on a forgeworld? Order of the Cog-Tooth Crown, or something like that, could be a nice chance for me to maybe learn into some divine machinery styles
finished building my hastarii squad by adding a few wires to them, then just threw some random spare bits and wires on top of the textured plasticard bases
