What happens when you are asked to make a book for an artist who works without order, explanation or chronology in her work?
We made an artbook for Ilse Popelier, rooted in freedom, intuition and play. Through a two-part structure (a 16-meter leporello and a set of detachable works) the reader is invited to slow down, rearrange, and engage with the drawings in their own way.
Leaving room for the reader to create their own connections, or none at all.
