DULBC Club of the Year!🩷🖤
Last Tuesday the Trinity Sport awards were held in the iconic dining hall on campus and it was a night to remember for our club. DULBC received nominations for 4 awards.
Thanks to continued success throughout the season on and off the water, we were crowned Club of the Year — an award recognising outstanding achievement and engagement in student sport.
Our coach Caoimhe Dempsey, received the Alumni of the Year award in recognition of her contribution and support over the years.
Two of our athletes, Addy Telzrow and Imogen Cooney also got awarded Pinks, the highest sporting honour awarded by the university, representing outstanding individual merit and performance in rowing.
Thank you Trinity Sport for this honor. This is another historic milestone for the club and extra special to receive it on the 50th anniversary year. Thanks to our athletes, coaches, sponsors, supporters, alumni and friends who continue to support us.
Bring on champs!

We are immensely grateful to the Pavillon Bar for their support throughout our racing season. Their help in funding the University Rowing Championships was key in our success and in bringing the Bank of Ireland trophy home!
Their generosity makes a real difference for our athletes. We truly couldn’t have asked for better. Thank you!🩷🖤
Stay tuned, lots more on the way!

Another successful weekend for DULBC at Uni champs!
Double victory for our team in the Inter 8+ and Senior 8+! Tight races, but the crew pulled ahead showing cohesion and determination. We’re very proud of all our athletes racing!
On top of all these great performances, the club also secured the Bank of Ireland trophy!
Many thanks to everyone who organised and made this happen and to the @the_pavilion_bar for always supporting us!
Ready for what’s next!

University Champs will take place this Saturday 18th of April in Lough Rynn! Due to bad weather, only 8+ crews will be racing. Make sure to keep an eye on the results!
Our deepest thanks goes to the Pavillon Bar for consistently supporting DULBC through our season!

Only tears of joy can describe last Saturday’s feeling after our Senior Women’s team won the Corcoran Cup at the Colours Boat Races. DULBC beat UCDLBC by three lengths, having taken a clear lead from the Four Courts to the finish line. Trinity hadn’t secured a win since 2019, and we couldn’t be prouder of our team.
A special mention goes to our coaches Sally O’Brien and Caoimhe Dempsey who guided us every step of the way and made sure we were fully prepared.
Many thanks also to the organising committee, and we are incredibly grateful for the support of the Trinity Association & Trust and the TDA, without whom this incredible experience would not have been possible.
We’re just getting started…

@trinitycollegedublin Women’s senior @dulbcrowing crew won the Corcorcan Cup for Senior Women’s Eights in the @coloursboatraces earlier today, beating their UCD counterparts by three lengths, having taken a clear lead from the Four Courts and rowed strongly over the 2km+ course from O'Connell bridge down to Victoria Quay near St James's Gate.
The Trinity win prevented University College Dublin Ladies Boat Club from making it five-wins-in-a-row in the Corcoran Cup.
UCD won both the Women’s Novice Eights race, the Sally Moorhead Trophy, and the Men’s Novice Eights race, the Dan Quinn Shield.
UCD Senior Men's Eight crew also took this year’s Gannon Cup, despite Trinity's Men’s Senior Eights getting off to a quick start.
💬 The @lordmayorofdublin Cllr Ray McAdam, was in attendance to watch the racing: "It was fantastic to attend this year's Dublin City Colours Boat Races and I'm pleased that the event was supported by Dublin City Council. This historic and annual race day is an important part of Dublin's sporting calendar, creating a superb opportunity for spectators to witness high quality, head-to-head rowing on the River Liffey through the heart of the City Centre. I would like to congratulate all the crews on their performances. The races were hard fought and the wins were well-earned."
