Sometimes you find yourself at a quiet crossroads, and instinctively you know — you have to choose. Stay on the familiar path, or turn and risk a step into the unknown. And in a way, it feels like @dukwa_ stood right there in 2023, when he decided to leave his 9-to-5 behind and fully commit to music. A decision that, looking at where he is now, feels like a deeply right one. “I don’t want to dwell on the past… but I believe it’s important to leave space in your heart for the things that have emotionally shaped you.” Born and raised in Florence, the Italian artist has been creating his sound somewhere between analog warmth and digital precision. There’s something fluid in the way he approaches music — moving between house, techno, and more introspective textures without needing to define it too clearly. After 15 years as a producer, he has become more aware of his way of working, yet his approach is still deeply guided by instinct. His new EP Remember Us (At Least I’ve Tried To) reflects exactly that. A body of work that holds different emotional states at once — love, distance, uncertainty, but also a sense of excitement for what lies ahead. We sat down with Dukwa to talk about early influences, the balance between analog and digital, and the emotional layers behind Remember Us — and what it means to create something that feels entirely your own. 🏗️ 🌳 🪩 Milan, I felt you. First time with the @soul_stice_ family, under the lights, in the rhythm and you… all of you, dancing with smiles that lit up the night. 💌 If you weren’t there, here’s a glimpse of the magic. If you were… you already know. 📖 Grateful, always. Long live the music. 🎶✨ 🎥: @elephant_studio @clappo_ 📸: @clappo_ @elephant_studio @riccardo__parziale

@dukwa_ curates a selection shaped by his own path, with Tuscany — his roots — running quietly through it. The focus moves between artists who have marked the history of electronic music, both Italian and international alongside more contemporary underground voices reflecting a wide musical background that shapes Dukwa’s approach to music. Names such as @alexneridj , @francescofarfaofficial , @alexander_robotnick , @__herva__ and @massprod99 , alongside a wider constellation of references. An invitation to explore the selection and get a closer sense of his musical world.

After the release of his single “Remember Us”, @dukwa_ is gearing up for his new EP “Remember Us (At Least I’ve Tried To)”, dropping April 10. Marco D’Aquino, aka Dukwa, has been carving out his own path for years, moving between house, techno, and more experimental territories, guided by what he describes as an “instinctive, ever-evolving” approach. His sound refuses to settle into a single formula, yet stays grounded in a clear identity shaped by sonic precision, rhythmic tension, and a constant drive toward change. “Remember Us (At Least I’ve Tried To)” fits right into this trajectory. Even though the four tracks were created at different times, they come together to define the EP’s identity with clarity. As he explains, the project wasn’t built from a fixed plan, it took shape over time, tied to a specific personal phase, without ever slipping into nostalgia. In this interview, we spoke with him about the making of the EP, his connection to Florence, and how he sees his journey. 🌲🌲🌲 This isn’t a new beginning,it’s a parallel path that’s been unfolding since Dukwa first took shape back in 2010. Music has always been at the core of everything, and it will stay there as long as it keeps beating. My new single “Remember Us” is out now on @universalmusicitalia ,taken from my upcoming EP “Remember Us (At Least I’ve Tried To)”, out April 10. Hope you feel it. I do. 1 📸: @thomaspizzinga @elephant_studio 2📸: @clappo_ @saru.uh
