Applicants at the Divinity School automatically receive information about scholarships through the admissions process and all admitted students are automatically considered for internal Duke Divinity scholarship support. Through the generosity of many, Duke Divinity School is able to offer even more support through the Annual Fund, special fellowships, and established endowments. The fellowships offer full-tuition scholarships, mentorships, community, and signature programming and formation while at Duke. To learn more about all of these opportunities, follow the link in our bio.

At Duke Divinity, we offer students the space, time, and mentorship they need to develop a strong theological foundation for wherever their call takes them. Hear from our students and faculty about how Duke challenges students to ask questions and deepen their relationships with God, the church, and their communities.

At Duke Divinity, graduates leave with more than a theological education. They leave with a lifelong call to seek the wisdom of Jesus in every step ahead. 💙

Duke Chapel Dean Luke Powery offered words of wisdom to graduating students in his reflection, titled "The Company We Keep," during the Baccalaureate Services over Commencement Weekend. "The relational circles we choose shape how we think, what we do, how we look, how we talk, and what we desire," Dean Powery said. "They shape our character, our attitudes, our way of being and seeing the world, and, unknowingly and innocently, we become who we are with." "So, as you graduate and move into another chapter of life, think about who you want to be and become," he said, "because who you spend time with says something not only about who you are, but the future you desire, not only for yourself, but for the world." It's the final stretch of Duke Divinity Giving Day! "What makes me most excited about ministry is that there is hope," says graduating student Cristal Ocampo Ruiz. "I want to leave this world better than I found it, and we are living in tough times, which make people feel hopeless and fearful. So many people are wrestling with what it means to have faith in the midst of turmoil and chaos." 100% of your gift to the Annual Fund goes directly to student scholarships and is a vote of confidence in the next generation of students, who are leading with hope at the forefront. And Bonus! If you give today, you will be entered into a raffle for a chance to win Kate Bowler’s new book: "Joyful, Anyway." 🎉 Give at the link in our bio or our stories!
