Man, this is a gorgeous one! Lorkin, seen here singing, is an online buddy of mine from running in similar circles in the songwriting world over the years. He’s been doing quite a bit lately, from moving back across the world, to starting a record label (
@a_for_effort_records ), to forming a new band that we’re all grateful to be listening to right now. He’s a guy with his heart in the best of places, and he’s surrounding himself with likeminded folks who are catuplting towards a shared creative and vibrant vision.
Last week DUG played their first show together, a sold out room. Tonight is their second show, sold out as well. You can hear why, there’s something special going on here folks. For them, it really is the year of Jubilee. We’re here for it!
