14 years ago today, Mimi was born 6 weeks early in Oakland California. She was so tiny, but never in any danger. She’s exceeded being small for a bit by turning into an empathetic, cheerful, and outgoing teenager that defies the stereotypes of her peers. From what I see, the kids in her cohort are much the same. The kids are indeed probably alright. Despite the best efforts of the generations before them.
