One of my favorite aspects of photographing action figures/toys/models is the perspective. You often get a "larger than life" feel from the environment - which can make them look like they are still in their video game or TV show. A small rock is now a huge mountain, a little puddle is a vast lake, a small patch of weeds is an arid wasteland. It allows you to try so many things with your camera!
