An Iraqi Dj with a career in the music industry spanning over two decades. From humble beginnings at Montreals infamous Stereo nightclub back in 2001, to formative years in London and now based in Dubai. He’s also the founder & creative force behind house & techno party series and label - Boogie Box - based out of the Middle East.

@dubmunky
Hani J is a Toronto-raised DJ and record collector known for his deep, refined selections shaped by the city’s vibrant underground in the late ‘90s. His early years included a formative stints at Kops Records and Proton Radio, one of the first online stations dedicated to electronic music.
Now based in Dubai, Hani is a resident at @gallerydxb and @boogie.box two pillars of the UAE’s underground scene. He’s also the co-founder of @_dancewerk a party series celebrating the golden era of dance music while spotlighting emerging local talent.
