On last Saturday; #europeday.
As has grown into a tradition the annual magazine of the European Cultural Foundation - Common Ground - launches at @athenaeumnieuwscentrum in Amsterdam.
This year we had the honour of handing the first copy to Polish author @malgorzata_lebda who shared some personal notes on being translated with all present. Marc Robbemond further interviewed ECF Director André Wilkens on European sentiments, and asked me, as editor-in-chief, and @olivia.busi as fantastic editorial team member, for our favorite magazines. ‘To work on, we answered: Common Ground!’

This might be one of my favourite pictures of my many visits to Budapest. The city of friends, of dancing nights away in hidden train-station clubs, of endless metro rides, of sweating in saunas, of installing some art installations and as my hometown for futher exploring Europe by train.
There won't be many of you not knowing about the elections happening this Sunday. Much about them is said and more about them will be said.
This might be one of my favourite quotes on the elections, by @thetimothysnyder : "...history goes on. Just as Hungary once offered the international oligarchical far right the confidence that a formula had been found, it now offers to men such as Vance and Trump the anxiety that voting might actually make a difference, that democracy might actually turn out to be more than a slogan, that unpredictable change is still possible, that the future is open."

@jairhoogland explained us how riding ultras can easily grow into a habit. @sebastiaantimmerman shared tons of anecdotes from his life as live-commentator. @susanneroos took all of us on a tour through her wonderful ‘Het Grote Wielrenboek’. @martijntusveld expressed his amazement not all World Tour teams employ sports-psychologists.
As has become tradition, Rinus of @cycleworks.nl answered any techical questions, and someone did win our quiz.
There was a surprise aubade to Florian Vermeersch by #joosthontelez. And did I mention the concert by @thehook.band already?
