On 17 May 2026, Svetlana Zakharova returns to Dubai Opera for a one-night presentation of MODANSE, brought to the stage by M Premiere and MuzArts.
The evening begins with Come Un Respiro, where the music of George Frideric Handel guides a refined, expressive choreography. It then transitions into Gabrielle Chanel, a ballet that traces the evolution of Coco Chanel, capturing her influence through movement, design, and narrative.
A carefully composed programme that brings together artistry across disciplines, performed by a distinguished cast from the Bolshoi Theatre.

On 18 May 2026, the UAE National Orchestra brings Georges Bizet’s Carmen to Dubai Opera in a special concert presentation conducted by Ahmed Farag.
The programme features a selection of the opera’s most iconic arias, ensembles, and orchestral excerpts, performed by orchestra, choir, and international soloists in a symphonic concert format.
Kindly be advised: this is not a fully staged opera production, but a concert interpretation focused on the music of Carmen and its most celebrated moments.

في 18 مايو 2026، تقدم الأوركسترا الوطنية لدولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة رائعة جورج بيزيه "كارمن" على مسرح دبي أوبرا، في عرض موسيقي خاص بقيادة أحمد فرج.
يتضمن البرنامج مجموعة مختارة من أشهر الآريات والمقاطع الجماعية والمقتطفات الأوركسترالية من الأوبرا، تؤديها الأوركسترا وكورال مصاحب لها ونخبة من العازفين المنفردين العالميين ضمن صيغة حفل سيمفوني.

Dubai Opera hosted a full house for “Sing for the Nation”, an evening led by the UAE National Orchestra to mark the 50th anniversary of the unification of the UAE Armed Forces.
The performance celebrated five decades of national service and unity, featuring orchestral arrangements of patriotic works from the 1970s to the present day. A central highlight included the performance of “Rijaal Wallah Rijaal”, a musical tribute based on a poem by His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE.
Emirati icon Hussain Al Jassmi made a surprise appearance during the concert, joining the orchestra for a live rendition of “Al Sogoor Al Mukhliseen”. The audience participated throughout the night, singing along to recognisable anthems including “Dar Zayed” and “Sawf Nahmi Al Etihad”.

كانت ليلة ذكّرتنا بقوة التكاتف، وكيف تستطيع الموسيقى أن تقرّب القلوب وتجمعنا على حب الإمارات.
