with tears and stars in her eyes 💧✨
it seems that i’ve reached the end of a very long chapter. one that has taught me that love comes in so many different forms. i am so grateful to have come across all the people i’ve met who see me as i am and do everything in their ability to support me. i want to especially thank mayra and jocelyn for being my rocks in all this cos this shit was not easy. I am so glad that we had each other to support because it was insanity. to all the mf late nights and the silly moments. you guys made it worthwhile, i love you guys con todo mi corazón 🫀🕯️also shoutout to all my professors and colleagues for all the knowledge and good times, i will cherish them and continue to grow with everything i’ve learned.
not only is that a promise to you but to myself as well.
i am eternally grateful to you all.
to growing what you go through ! 🥂✨💧

Bestie and I have come a long way from where we started! I’ve been able to spot mistakes we encountered back then and can see how much we’ve grown. From making glass for our own shows to teaching college students blown sculpture. Also look at our hair difference from shawties with short hair to long haired ladies
A huge thanks for the help from @maestro_sleazy@emilytrief@marcomiller.jpg@edenhayer and other students!! Thanks @smc_glass_ for having us and @artdesign_csusb for teaching us and helping us grow ✨ also honorable mention @thegarciacenterforthearts thank you for trusting us to run the facilities and blow glass on occasion allowing us to practice before we preform✨
I’m also thankful that Denise McCann Bachman took video and allowed us the opportunity to share/see how we’ve grown …

Here’s a walk-thru of my BFA solo-show “That’s Just How The World Works!”
A whole year has gone by and I’ve learned so much! I find myself reflecting upon things I could’ve done better but leaning on the solace that I was on a really narrow time-crunch. Looking back I could only think about how I couldn’t have accomplished this on my own and I’m grateful to my dearest friends, Mayra and Jocelyn, (@mayras_artique@tigr.bun ) I love you guys and I’m grateful that we are apart of each others journey. 🫂💘
For all the aspiring artists out there, don’t give up! Working through your doubts is the strongest thing you can do.💫
