Sound is the language I trust most. "Meditation tour" is taking me to very special corners of the earth this summer. I feel excited to share these dates with you guys as I get more comfortable posting this very important part of my life on here.

fasting & sound:
two ancient technologies which are now backed by modern research.
fasting shifts the body into a state of repair:
increasing autophagy (cellular cleanup) and producing ketones that fuel the brain more efficiently. it’s also been linked to reduced inflammation, improved cognition, and mental clarity.
sound + meditation do the opposite, but complementary work nevertheless:
they activate the parasympathetic nervous system, lowering heart rate, stress, and bringing the body back into balance.
one creates space.
the other organizes it.
when the body is empty…
the nervous system becomes more receptive.
and what you feel isn’t magic,
it’s biology catching up to awareness.
This past week we dove into the belly of the beast. Bali. A place that truly reaps what it sows. First picture was caught by Cole the day we arrived and sat with sound, an hour session that broke me in ways I was not expecting. Tears ran down my cheeks and chin, and I knew better than to wipe them away. I allowed myself to feel them from top to bottom. These were not happy or sad tears, these were rivers of reality. Living your reality and becoming as authentic with yourself and your surroundings is quite possibly the toughest journey in this life. All dharmas are forms of emptiness, realizing this emptiness frees us from attachment to things as if they were permanent.
I dropped to my knees and vowed my life to love as well as sound. This peculiar sound, the sound of the abstract. A sound that connects us to a higher power and shows us the way to finding harmony with the universe.
We are at times deprived of all the beauty around us by the heaviness of body and heaviness of heart. We are pulled down to earth and everything becomes limited. When we shake off that heaviness we feel joyous and light. All good tendencies such as gentleness and tolerance, forgiveness, love and appreciation come by being light in mind, soul, and body.
We just arrived back in Miami fueled by it all and ready to keep sharing and learning besides anyone who is willing to sit still and listen. 🤍 @dualityisreality
Today, love won. 💍 After sitting in a beautiful sound meditation for a few hours this morning, in a place of total peace, I asked the question. There’s something really powerful about proposing from a place of presence. That’s exactly what sound meditation temples are all about. To the never-ending exploration of sound, contigo. ♾️
