Had an epic weekend in Nashville w @theanimeros this last weekend. Got in some studio time, crushed a set at the @easyeyesound annual fish fry, got to see see @theblackkeys in a room of 300 people, tons of good times w the boys. Onto the next one 🤙
Pumped to get back to it with the boys tomorrow night - @theanimeros are hitting @kutx Rock the Park fresh off our European run. The band is firing on all cylinders right now and this is your last chance to catch us locally for about a month before we hit the road again 🤙💣💥
Happy mothers day to @louisebthacker !! We went and had brunch and took a little trip to Mt. Bonnell. Starting to get a little warm here in Austin but still a beautiful central Texas day.
Thats a wrap on the first big leg of the Animeros tour! What a total blast and massive success for the first time for this band leaving the US. Huge shout out to @m_a_u_lopezzz@nicktozzodrums and @nicosanzcastro for putting this tour together and inviting me along to play, and of course to @today_iwilldrum for always being down to get into some crazy adventure on our off days. Im truly honored to be playing w these dudes and cant wait for the next north east US run in June 🙌🙌🙌
We wrapped this run in Philadelphia closing out a public radio conference. Had a great time checking out Philly and meeting tons of cool new folks. What a great city and event!

Hanging in Philly this morning on a little solo coffee run. I learned Philly is where David Ruffin died and coincidentally I've recently been going back thru his whole discography. Im loving the opportunity to take some walks around all these cities weve visited so far. Next time I gotta bring Nigel 🐕🐕🐕

We had an epic night at @thelexington for the last night of our European/UK run 🤘 @laschanchas_cumbia crushed their opening set and were just general great dudes to hang with. The crowd was awesome and the venue was a beautiful building in downtown London, only about a 10 min walk from our Hotel.
We just landed in Philly for our final show of this run before heading back to ATX on Thurs - bout to celebrate with a Philly Cheese Steak 🧀 🥩

I dont think ive ever shown this off but I built a little mini shell for my Yamaha reface. The chasis is actually 3D printed (covered in tolex) and the cheek blocks on the side are red oak. I brought it to europe in case I got any backline I wasnt familiar with, and id still have farfisa and hammond organ sounds I could run MIDI. This is my first time ever playing it on stage tonight at the Lexington and im glad I got to play one of my custom shells on stage on the other side of the world 🤘
