David Lee - Swing / Dimmer Board Operator
David Seungwoo Lee is a Korean-American Set Grip, Electrician, Lighting Programmer, and Dimmer Board Operator based in Chicago.
A DePaul University graduate with a BFA in Directing, ever since joining his first G&E crew, David has never looked back. As he focuses now mainly as a Board Op, his primary goal is to allow his Gaffers and DP’s to be efficient on set by providing them with quick fine-tuned adjustments, executing pre-planned cues and effects, or even lighting gags on the fly.

Was an eye-opening two week intensive. Grateful for all the filmmakers and urban artists we got to meet.
The way this country values community, cultural preservation and development, as well as engagement in the arts, either as a spectator or creator, inspires me to work harder in my own city.
