DSSO musicians were at the Steam Festival at the Depot this weekend, letting kids get their hands on real orchestra instruments. There’s nothing like watching a kid discover an instrument for the first time!

Join us on May 16th as Concertmaster Erin Aldridge takes center stage for Bruch’s G Minor Violin Concerto, one of the most popular pieces in all of violin repertoire. Add Kodály’s vibrant Dances of Galánta and Schumann’s sweeping Rhenish Symphony, and it’s the perfect way to close out the season!
