Still can’t believe my favorite Olympian @adaripp is hosting the first Olympics show I’m directing for NBC. Excited for everyone to see “My Favorite New Olympian” as we gear up for the 2026 Milan-Cortina Winter Olympics and meet some of Team USA’s coolest athletes and the causes they champion. Huge thanks to the amazing DIT team for making it the best filming day ever!
I’ve been honored to help share the story of Emmett Till through our documentary, 'Lost Story of Emmett Till: Then and Now.' Mamie Till Mobley's life mission was to keep Emmett's story alive. Last September, @marion.brooks and I traveled to Mississippi to film the final chapter of our three-part documentary series, and we’re so grateful to be recognized by the Emmy Awards this year, winning the Outstanding Achievement for Historical Documentaries. Akemi's words in the acceptance speech echoed our spirit in every meeting: “We do it for Mamie Till.”

We made a figure skating Barbie named Milana Cortina 💁♀️✨ But the real magic has been getting to cover the Winter Olympics with the Olympic figure skater herself @mariahsk8rbell . So grateful for the insight and heart she brings to our Olympic coverage.
