Welcoming @baron_films to DSREPS ❤️ Born and raised in New York City, Matt Baron developed an early sensitivity to photography, music, and human connection. Immersed in a creative environment from a young age, he honed a discerning eye and a clear point of view. Known for creating emotionally resonant, visually driven films, Baron has collaborated with a wide range of partners including Apple, Kendrick Lamar, Rimowa, Adidas, Vogue, DeBeers, Amazon, Mac Cosmetics, Nars, Moncler, Gatorade, Beats by Dre, Gap, Soul Cycle, Louis Vuitton, and Marriott Bonvoy Hotels. Matt seamlessly translates his directing experience into photography through cinematic lighting that always puts storytelling first. He shoots his stills as if they were scenes in a film, directing talent into natural interactions that are emotional and energetic. His defined knowledge of editing results in images that are both aesthetically cohesive and narratively connected. Drawn to stories of the human condition, Matt seeks to find beauty in the everyday by visually elevating the challenges and triumphs we all navigate. His approachable personality helps lower the guard of global celebrities and local waitresses alike, leading to intimate and resonant imagery. Matt resides currently in Los Angeles with his wife Coco, his three kids and his old dog, Buzz. When not working or with family, you can usually find him on a tennis court or playing his guitar.
