Our freshmen never stopped the beat last night at the Theatre Department’s Freshmen Showcase! 🎭🖤💛 From start to finish, our talented students brought energy, creativity, and confidence to the stage in an incredible evening of performances. The finale performance of “You Can’t Stop the Beat” was the perfect ending to a night filled with #dreyfoosmagic. Congratulations to all of our students and teachers on an amazing showcase!
The Symphonic Band and Wind Ensemble delivered an incredible performance at their Spring Concert under the direction of our amazing band director, Evan Rogovin. From powerful moments to beautiful musicianship, every piece showcased the hard work, passion, and talent of our students.
A special shoutout to student composer and conductor Simon Nguyen for sharing his creativity and leadership on stage — what an amazing accomplishment! 👏🎼
We also want to congratulate our Class of 2026 band majors on their final concert performance. Thank you for your dedication, leadership, and the memories you’ve created within the Dreyfoos band program. We are so proud of all you’ve achieved and can’t wait to see where music takes you next!

Today, Daniel Goodwin (senior) was awarded the Lisa Bruno Band Major Award! He received a custom made tenor saxophone from the @pbsymphony ! We are so proud of Daniel and all be has accomplished!
What a way to close out the season at the State Track Meet in Jacksonville! Nicole Vasallo (Senior) placed 9th overall in the 400m (personal record) and Lily McDow (Senior) finished 12th overall in the 400m against some of the best competition in the state.
Our 4x400 relay team of Nicole Vasallo, Lily McDow, Ella Pierre, and Amelie Cannon raced to a 12th overall finish and represented with heart, determination, and grit all while setting a school record!!
We are incredibly proud of these athletes and everything they accomplished this season. Wishing all of our seniors the very best in their next endeavors. We want to thank Coach Vening and Coach Millstein for all their guidance and support this season!

We are so proud to celebrate Mr. De León and Jazz Ensemble 1 for being named one of the top three high school jazz bands in the world at the Essentially Ellington High School Jazz Band Competition & Festival in New York City. This is truly the Super Bowl of jazz, and this recognition highlights the incredible talent and dedication of our students.
They also earned Outstanding Rhythm Section, Outstanding Brass, and individual honors for Daniel Goodwin (Tenor Sax), Nat Ratchford (Trombone), Mathew Harper (Trumpet), and Sage Duke (Vocalist).
