One of my favorite bedtime drinks is just simply a nonalcoholic amaro with some tart cherry juice. This evening though I pumped up the volume a bit and made it fizzy.
This @drzerozerodrinks ânomaroâ is an Italian alcohol free amaro spirit and itâs probably in my top five fav zeroproof spirits. Itâs herbal and root forward while not being sweet.
Grown and stomped right here in the Finger Lakes is this tart cherry from @redjacketny on Seneca Lake. Itâs slightly sweet but the tartiness makes the whole drink sing. Plus, supposedly tart cherry juice is supposed to help you sleep, and that sounds kind of nice tonight.
I love playing with bitters and the flavors in @barkandbitter Bywater Bitters are pretty complimentary with notes of clove and anise.
I topped it off with a bit of club soda and a few maraschino cherries for dessert. I might just call this one âBedtimeâ!
