Well it’s been a while since I’ve done one of these, and I’ve been told I look a bit different nowadays so here we go… - Hi, my name’s Brad! I’ve been drunksewingcompetition for a couple years now, formerly 32ozembroidery, but didn’t like being narrowed to embroidery in my name. I’m a travel nurse currently in Boise, ID, based out of Reno, NV with semi-frequent stints living in a van with my dog somewhere around Washington. - When I’m not nursing, I spend most of my free time sewing and embroidering or hanging out at breweries with my dog drawing and/or knitting. I finally took a couple months off this summer and was able to sew full time. You might’ve seen the run of quilt jackets I made or some of the things I embroidered around Boise. I spent quite a bit of that time making reels, none of which really popped off, but most of which I’m pretty proud of. I got addicted to film photography a couple years ago too and share random pictures occasionally. - All of this to say, I don’t do this for a living. I’m coming up on my 9 year anniversary of learning to chainstitch and I go back and forth on whether I think that’s a goal for me. At the end of the day though I appreciate this page for what it is: a hobby. (To be fair an extremely time consuming hobby.) If you’re looking to get something sewn/embroidered/designed please feel free to reach out! If it’s something that interests me and I have time to do I’m happy and excited to do it. If not, it’s nothing personal and I’ll gladly send you in the direction of other chainstitchers that can help you out. - I’ve come to realize my main goal with this is to simply share the things I create with people who will appreciate them. And if I’m lucky, then that sharing inspires someone else to create a bit more too.
