Berlin, 16.05 Our side project 3XO is playing live at @dock_digital_berlin It’s Sasha and Masha Piankov in a parallel musical universe: minimal drum machines, ambient guitars, kosmische textures, post-apocalyptic romance, and improvised structures that keep mutating in real time. We’ll be sharing the night with @xi_n________ & @alexssseee and @flschmnschn @dock_digital_berlin Kastanienallee 79 21:00 pic taken by @skibipics 💓

••• 16.05 @dock_digital_berlin Kastanienallee 79 21:00 XI-N & Alex See (A/V live) 3XO (live) Falsche Menschen (live) Berlin-based media artists @xi_n________ and @alexssseee present an experimental electronic A/V performance that provides an escape from dystopian narratives. The performance merges XI-N’s background in postclub and leftfield techno with Alex See’s visual exploration of technologically mediated vision. Together, they create a space of uncertainty, characterized by a densely impulsive A/V compositions. 3XO is a project by Sasha and Masha Piankov, born as a side project of @gnoomes_official , yet existing in a parallel musical universe. Minimal drum machine grooves, ambient guitar textures, and kosmische-inspired arrangements shape a love story set in a post-apocalyptic landscape. The duo is currently recording their debut album, due later this year. In the meantime, while their compositions have a defined structure, 3XO’s live performances rely heavily on improvisation within each piece. @flschmnschn is a Berlin-based duo performing live experimental electronic music, drawing on downtempo, leftfield, and dub techno. Their sound blends intricate rhythms, live looping, spoken word, and unconventional synthesizers—raw and gritty, yet deeply groovy and spiritual. The members of Falsche Menschen are also the founders and curators of @act_in_berlin an experimental music series in Berlin.

This Thursday I’ll be opening the night for my dear friends @heavenphetamine at @voyagercraftbar . I’m still not fully sure what I’ll be playing yet haha, but that’s part of the beauty, isn’t it? Expect something drifting between kosmische, ambient techno and experimental. Entry is free, but donations are very welcome ;) Come through ✨

Lofoten Islands are a very special place. Here I feel connected to the Earth, and it does not feel forced at all. The turquoise water, the calming sounds around me, and the spontaneity of the light keep me inspired in every kind of weather. Always happy to be back!

Sometimes it only takes 5 minutes to create a soundscape for your very own meditation. For this piece, I used the @somasynths Harvezi Hazze for texture, Blackhole Symmetry @collisiondevices for space, and the @eventideaudio TimeFactor for loops. I also used the @yamahakeyboardsofficial Reface CS for some sequenced, phased-out elements. It’s not about the gear, though - it’s about tuning into your own frequency. #ambient #meditation #somasynths #collisiondevices #yamahamusic

Just got @somasynths Pipe - a vocal instrument that turns your voice into sound. Tomorrow I’ll drop a full video making an ambient techno track using only Pipe. No synths. No samples. Do you think this can actually work - or am I kidding myself? #somasynths #somapipe #ambient #experimental

“It still blows my mind🤯Games loading from audio cassettes on the Spectrum?!” Let’s talk about how game loading from audio cassettes worked on the ZX Spectrum! Luckily, at Tapes™ we’ve produced cassette tapes for game loading more than once, so this topic is especially close to our hearts. So how did this incredible combo where analog actually launches digital work at all? Spectrum games were basically digital code. But first, that code was converted into an audio signal, literally into beeps, crackles, and modulated noise, where one tone represented a logical 1 and another a logical 0. This sound was recorded onto an audio cassette. And then the magic began: – A regular cassette player was connected to the computer via the audio input (EAR), and sometimes MIC as well. – The user typed the command LOAD “” on the Spectrum and pressed Play on the tape deck. – The “beeping” sound from the cassette was fed into the computer. – The computer decoded the sound back into machine code, gradually assembling the program in RAM, and if everything went well, the game launched 🎉 Loading usually took between 2 and 5 minutes, depending on the size of the game and the recording quality. During this time, the screen was filled with the famous “zebra” pattern — a visual loading indicator. We absolutely love the fact that an analog medium could transmit digital code through sound. So come on, confess! who here played games on the ZX Spectrum? 🎮

Cassettes have always been a way for me to get lost in different worlds, so seeing the renewed interest in them really makes me happy. 📼 Do you think it’s just a nerdy trend that will fade, or something that will become part of everyday life for the people who need it most? 🧬 I went to @gotape.eu to find out. #cassettes #tapes #gotape #physicalrelease

Posebej pa skupine @gnoomes_official za pomoč v organizacije: @mashaice za močan in premišljen DJ set in @drunkka za dober zvok. eng Sunday is a day off — the perfect opportunity to share a photo report by @skibipics and a camcorder spot by videographer @andrew.bunin from the concert of Australian singer @lucyfrancescadron . Lucy described the show as the best of her career. Sincere thanks to her and to the entire team who made the event possible. Special thanks to the @gnoomes_official crew for their help with the organization: @mashaice for a powerful and thoughtful DJ set, and @drunkka for the great sound.

#somazodiac2026 This year turned out to be the most bizarre, yet happiest year of my life. Riding this wave of constant change, I decided to participate in @somasynths contest and create an audiovisual horoscope for my sign: Capricorn. To all Capricorns out there — I’m with you, folks! The music was written by me. The visuals were also generated by me using AI and then edited by my beautiful wife @mashaice , whom I call the video master! Merry Xmas y’all! ✨
