A boundary need not be fixed—black and white.
A boundary can be like a tree—rooted firmly yet strong in its swaying with the elements.

Here’s a little portal into my morning ritual.
Preparing tea (often sheng puerh) with my humble set up.
Hot water in a thermos, because I like my tea as hot as possible.
I have a yixing teapot that has no filter, and I’ve grown to appreciate the process of pouring tea without one. It takes patience and the right angle.
I’ve become fond of having little bits of tea in my brew that sinks to the bottom. Perfect for little tea leaf readings.
I often light some incense and then pull a Tarot card and Rune for the day.
I’ve been doing this every day for almost ten years now.
This process has helped me to deepen my personal relationship with the patterns and themes centered around natural and multiversal laws—the elements and shapes that inform our realm.
I also like to take time to notice how I feel or any sensations in the body that come along with my daily divination.
This has helped to integrate the insights in the body—tending to my lived experiences of these presences.
That way I am well-resourced to assist and guide others in sessions when things inevitably come up.
I love working with the Tarot and Runes because they provide a creative filter or buffer for the insights to travel through.
I prefer to work WITH story as opposed to avoiding it, because then we can work together to reframe, rewrite, or even just simply hear our stories with ears that tend to only show up in ritual space—aka an intentional container where all parties as signing up to explore a theme, situation, question, etc.
If you are interested in this offering, please check out thehoneybeetemple.com and you’ll find my Drum Rune Sessions under the 1:1 Sessions tab.
I’m calling these sessions Drum Rune because every body is a drum and I’m here to support you—incite your excitement—in expressing your unique tone more fully and freely.
Thank you for reading and watching. Feel free to reach out with any questions or curiosities.
Warmth and mirth,

God Jól friends! 🍄🤘🏼❄️🎄
I have some new rune sets available made during this Yule portal.
This particular Elder Futhark set (24 Runes) is made entirely of Black Walnut, one of my most beloved tree teachers that presences the importance of boundaries especially when doing deep inner work (dancing with the shadow).
It’s one thing to speak of or communicate boundaries, it’s another thing to embody the frequency of authenticity where that which is not resonant is repelled.
To embrace pathwork with the Runes is a wholly intimate journey that requires curiosity or at the very least suspension of disbelief.
If you’ve been pondering what the Runes might have to share with you, I can help you get started.
Starting any new journey is often the hardest part, because it requires surrendering to the unknown—to mystery themself.
Each Rune set is entirely handcrafted, starting with beautiful woods impeccably salvaged and cut by Melissa’s Father with the shapes ritually burned and Runes polished, and treated with beeswax by me, G.
Each set comes with a unique talisman, Rune guide, pouch, and Intro to the Runes video.
You can find them at:
thehoneybeetemple.com
Just click “Runes” and you’re good to go.

You are my reason for the season, radiant empress—etheric alchemist.
To see our love and everything reflected and embodied by Runa.
You contain the magic essence of this very sacred and precious time of the year.
The peace and stillness within the vibrant dance of the hummingbird’s wings.
That spark of pure light and presence that some call hope or God, that I instead call by your many names…
Melissa, Tejasvi, Pritamjoti, Amma, Amara, Mel, Honeybee, and the list goes on.
May you receive a thousand fold the blessings, grace, magic, presence, joy, prosperity, creativity, inspiration, true wealth, adventure, love, mystery, and wonder that you share with all of us.
Happy Birthday, Melissa!
Grazie, Destino!

Tea ritual as a timeless practice of tending to transitions—sudden, steady, or slow.
Many micro-rhythms are expressed during the process of tea-making.
A satisfying tea session mirrors the moment and flows as the journey of a patient song.
Sharing tea is an opportunity to connect—to bridge worlds—that is unique to the experience of Tea.
The art of making tea, specifically gong fu, invites presence and single-pointed focus.
Even on those challenging days where we may be lacking capacity to be present to what we are being asked of, the ritual of tea can be a very subtle and critical support system.
A type of support that we may sometimes only notice the potency of, for whatever reason, in its absence.
Some of us perhaps have never had someone thoughtful and carefully make for us tea. In this case, we may not even know what we are missing.
As someone who is often pouring tea at home for myself and my sweeties, I was reminded of the satisfaction and joy in being served tea when I visited a tea house in Vancouver.
We were all having a more challenging day, and the experience of being served tea really shifted us into a more grounded and expansive state. I found myself smiling uncontrollably on a day where a smile had not been cracked prior.
I long to share tea with folks nearby in the Bellingham area.
All of my tea friends feel further away than I’d like. I miss my days shared with other tea people at the teahouse.
If you happen to live in the Bellingham or even the Seattle area and would like to share some tea, feel free to reach out. Perhaps through putting the call out here maybe a space will emerge where there can be fulfilling opportunity to bridge worlds and enjoy some good, hot tea!
As each of us are being asked to move through these turbulent transitions, maybe, just maybe, something as simple as sharing tea together could bring that much needed levity and sense of belonging to all who seek it and are brave enough to pick up the cup.

Happy Wyrdsgiving
An invitation to create your own traditions in the holiday season that feel empowering and mirthy.
I started the day off with creating my version of the Guru’s Chai using the recipe I learned while at @flyawakepdx 🤘🏼🦂⚕️shout to the legends over there 🫶🏼 love you miss you 🍄
Also, I’m referring to the day formally known as Thanksgiving now as Wyrdsgiving
Wyrd, which is where the word “weird” came from, speaks to the woven web of existence in which we are all connected.
When we notice these “connections” or the multi-dimensional nature of time/space—the multiverse—we say things like, “That was weird.”
Weird is a placeholder for things filed under mystery.
When one of us makes a move on this web of Wyrd, it ripples out and can move and shake the very fabric of what is holding us.
The times are giving Wyrd (weird) so I’m going to serve 💁🏻♀️ some 🧚🏼♂️ weird Wyrd 🕸️
Okay, back to the chai.
I don’t make chai every day. It’s more for special occasions for me these days.
I do love the process of making a chai because it involves presence, multiple steps in order, and it comes out slightly different each time.
It’s an alchemical process that mirrors the transformation process we all go through on the micro and macro levels every day and every season.
I’m going through a bit of my own snake-shedding-its-skin variant of alchemical processing and something as “simple” as making a chai tickles those creative gears to start spinning with a more pleasantly pulsing rhythmic intensity.
Never underestimate the power of making TEA in your daily life. Out of all the art processes I’ve learned so far in this life, few are as potent, magical, and straight up fun as making TEA!
Life serves us the tea relentlessly. Let us serve life the tea as well, ouroboros style. Into infinite(a).

My sweetie captured me enjoying one of my favorite morning rituals—enjoying a fine stick of incense and bathing in the smoke.
Autumn is my favorite time of year. It really speaks to me on a multitude of levels. So far, this Fall has really delivered in terms of deep churnings of the psyche, stirring of the emotional cauldrons, and waves of somatic impulses.
Creative projects are coming to fruition, and new cycles are on the horizon.
I wanted to remind you all that I still offer 1:1 sessions. For all intents and purposes, they are sessions where I incorporate the Tarot and Runes to provide particular angles of insight.
I also weave in tools and resources from Somatic Experiencing as I offer sessions at the Intermediate level.
Fall and Winter is my favorite portal of time to mine the depths within and to assist others in that process.
There’s something very magickal that happens when being in relationship—communing with the mirror of mystery.
I refer to my sessions as Somatic Rune Sessions as the heart of my offering is that we are engaging with the movements of mystery as expressed through the body.
The word “Rune” means “mystery” or “secret.” The language of this intimate insight—mystery—is unfurled through the body impulse.
I use divinatory methods such as the Tarot and Runes as pathways to tracking these “hidden” somatic truths.
If this peaks your curiosity at all, I invite you to explore my detailed write up on this offering on thehoneybeetemple.com
Just click the “1:1 Sessions” tab and you’ll find it under there.
I offer sliding scale option for these sessions as I feel that it is of utmost importance for this work to be accessible for all.
Thanks for reading along and please pass along to friends or family if you feel they might benefit from working with me.
Warmth and Mirth to You All!

The Other Person Is You
Total Lunar Eclipse Portal in Purva Bhadrapada
This Lunar Eclipse is Conjunct my Jupiter, which is a “significator of my soul.” Jupiter is the planet with the highest degree in my chart, making it my Atma Karaka and my Jupiter is in Purva Bhadrapada.
I know this is all a mouthful, but what I’m saying here is that to know this portal is to know me on a deeper level.
Purva Bhadrapada is associated with Aja Ekapada, the one-footed goat/serpent. So needless to say, it’s a bit of a freaky unicorn energy.
I’ve always been tuned into the weird/wyrd channels. Perpetually drawn to the depths—the arcane—the strange.
It’s been a draw of curiosity, there’s an innocence to it. I’ve often been referred to as the “devil’s advocate” by friends and family. This is a big reason why.
I’m always wondering what’s behind the things the people say and perform for the world.
Purva Bhadrapada is associated with secretly societies, hidden knowledge, and the secrets we keep—often from ourselves. Hence PB being dubbed The Two-Faced Man.
In this particular lunar eclipse portal, I invite you to consider duplicity and its role in your life and how you relate to yourself and “other.”
What aspects of you do you tend to hide away to keep up the perception you are most comfortable with others seeing you as?
In the last 5 years, I’ve put a lot of effort into showing up as my wholeass self which I have rarely felt safe to explore growing up in an environment of do as I say not as I do.
I’m grateful to have been exposed to the somatic tools that have greatly assisted me in moving through developmental religious and sexual trauma that was the norm in my life for the first 25 odd years of my life.
The first being the drums. The most recent being Somatic Experiencing, divination, and meditation.
I now feel resourced to be able to share these parts of myself with the collective that have felt quite scary to share.
I feel that we are going through a collective initiation that is stirring our individual pots and our shared ones.
I’m here in service offering my lightning bolt energy of transformation and healing.
How is this ⚡️⚕️🔱 energy lighting up your cauldron?
Sitting under an old childhood friend, a beautiful ginkgo tree, sharing a little about my relationship with trees and their connection to the Runes.
