Druid Fest 2026 @druidfest was one for the books! Happy 5 years to Modern Druid @moderndruidnyack —it was such an honor to celebrate this milestone and community over the weekend 🌀🌱🦋
You never know what you’re going to get with outdoor events, but this weekend reminded us that when the alignment is right, even the rain can’t stop the flow 🕊️ it felt like the ancestors were speaking through the clouds, using the rain to cleanse us all as we moved through the day 🌧️
The Healing space we created in the Nyack Library @nyacklibrary with Theresa @theresa.mariesa and Courtney @theambientharpist for Meditation🌀Sound Healing 🎶, and Reiki 🌈 was the perfect cozy sanctuary to truly tap in and find a collective moment of peace.
Down at the boathouse, the energy was a total vibe with incredible vendors, music, and wildlife. So grateful for the connections made and the magic we shared🌿✨

On this post-event napping afternoon, I got a chance to see what the amazing Scorpio & Gemini cooked up for their appearance at Modern Druid yesterday! While I was in the Boathouse at Nyack Beach State Park, they were chatting it up and handing out an e-zine that they launched specially for DruidFest! Could we be more honored? I do not think so ☺️🐦⬛🌿

Yesterday, something truly beautiful was created.
Despite the rain, a quick pivot indoors, and rain clouds opening over river and sky, 180 curious participants crossed our threshold and joined us for the very first DruidFest 🙏🌀
To every attendee who showed up with curiosity and open hearts, we thank you. 🐦⬛
To every volunteer who carried, lifted, guided, adjusted, soothed, solved, and held the day together, this could not have been possible without you 🕊️
To every vendor who transformed shared space into a living marketplace of art, craft, spirit, and wonder, your tenacity and talent created an elevated experience 🌼
To every performer, healer, musician, storyteller, eco-educator, and ritualist who brought their gifts to the current, you are the ones who weaved the magic of the day 💫
To every person who contributed energy, encouragement, labor, vision, laughter, patience, and presence…Thank you.
What could have become a washout instead became a living reminder that community is built by people willing to show up for one another.
The boathouse came alive with music, conversation, magic, learning, movement, healing, and connection (and wild birds and artistry!)
The weather was met together with warmth, adaptability, and spirit!
This was our first DruidFest.
And because of all of you, we look forward to doing it again next year (with lessons learned and many improvements planned!)

The skies opened hard this afternoon… and still, you came 🌀
In true DruidFest fashion, we are listening to the rhythm of the land and dancing with the weather rather than against it. To catch a clear window between the showers, tonight’s Fire Dance with Diiiotima Arts will now take place at 4:15 PM. 🔥
The mists may have arrived, but so did this community, with warmth, spirit, laughter, music, and muddy boots.
Thank you for showing up so fully today despite the rain. The boathouse has been alive with story, sound, craft, connection, and wonder all day long.
Come gather with us one more time by the fire before the evening deepens. Let the flames rise to meet the rain. 🔥🌧️🌀
DruidFest Update 🌧️🌀
As we’ve continued watching the weather closely, it is apparent that the mists of Avalon have decided to grace us, so we’ve made some thoughtful adjustments to ensure the day remains immersive, beautiful, connected, and protected from the elements while still honoring the spirit of the festival.
Here’s what’s shifting:
✨ All Plateau programming is now moving indoors to the historic Boathouse at Nyack Beach State Park. Music, crafts, wild birds, the lot!
✨ Our Vendor Village will also move into the Boathouse, creating a warm and intimate gathering space filled with artisans, readers, makers, healers, and wandering souls.
✨ Because of this shift indoors and change in venue, the Vendor Village will now be accessible to ticket holders only, as it will be in the Boathouse along with plateau programming and Modern Druid experiences.
Now is the time to get your ticket!
✨ Guided meditations, sound baths, Reiki, and healing sessions will also be moving - they are now taking place in the Community Room at the Nyack Library, just steps from Modern Druid in the heart of Nyack.
✨ Shuttle buses will continue to run back and forth from Memorial Park and Nyack Beach State Park as originally planned.
The day itself remains alive with music, ritual, art, storytelling, connection, learning, healing, and community … simply gathered closer together beneath shelter instead of sky.
And truthfully… there is something wonderfully fitting about Druids gathering beside the river while rain and mist join the fun …🌧️🌿🔥

Step 3 - hop a shuttle from the upper lawn at Memorial Park (steps from Modern Druid and the library) to Nyack Beach State Park to the Boathouse
Step 4 - step into the Boathouse and enjoy everything!
