Feeling nostalgic for the early web? This workshop brings back the handmade website as a space for creative and poetic expression. Spend the weekend with Jules Galbraith learning HTML/CSS and creating a site in your own style.

This two session workshop will introduce attendees to the fundamentals of HTML and CSS for creating lightweight, static sites. Potential applications include portfolio websites, website poems, web publications, etc.
Session 1 will consist of a follow-along demo and overview of HTML and CSS languages, as well as a brief introduction to handwritten and lightweight html for creative purposes.
Session 2 will consist of independent HTML writing, supported by me :) (jules)
Both session will take place at Cyberlove Garden (address to be distributed via email to those who have RSVP's) on Saturday Feb. 1 and Saturday Feb. 8, from 2-4 pm.
Participants are asked to bring their own laptop. Language of instruction will be predominantly English, with French instruction provided upon request.
