From all of us at Projekt Team, thank you from the bottom of our hearts to everyone who came out and celebrated Pacific Ring with us over the weekend. This kaupapa was a huge undertaking, one that could only be brought to life by the many villages and communities we’ve been blessed to work with throughout this journey. Our deepest gratitude goes to Creative New Zealand, who funded this project through the Creative Impact Fund. The impact was undeniable, reaching across the Pacific and Aotearoa. Your support made this all possible, and we are truly thankful. A massive thank you to our liaisons, Pacific partners, and the families in each island who made this tour a reality. Thank you for welcoming Projekt Team so warmly, for believing in the vision, and for helping create space for initiatives like Pacific Ring. Working with you was a joy, and we hope to continue building strong collaborations between our nations. To our Projekt Team dancers, the inspirers, doers, makers and head-achers, thank you for your commitment to seeing this through to the end. You gave so much to this initiative, making sacrifices and showing up in every way possible. Appreciate you beyond words. To our Street Dance community, thank you for the love and unity you brought to this project. Thank you to the team captains, dancers, judges, workshop facilitators, and qualifying champions. Your presence and passion lit up the space. To every dancer and community leader creating a sense of belonging through movement - we see you, and we thank you. And lastly, to our families, friends, and supporters, thank you for being there. For seeing us, cheehoooo'ing us, and holding us. Your presence gives us purpose. You are the reason we dream and create. All glory and thanks to God for guiding us through one of the biggest initiatives we’ve ever embarked on.
