Yes, we like plants. He comes once a week. He has opinions about light. Weâve started taking them seriously. 47 plants at Drop-in Wandsworth. None of them plastic. All of them part of the answer to why it feels different working here.
Weâre on a mission to make âhow was your commute?â a stupid question.
We went to find out who had the shortest and longest commutes in Richmond.
Weâre building neighbourhood work clubs so the question doesnât need to exist.
Work Local.
We spent years trying to fix our focus.
New apps. New routines. New playlists. New chargers. New approaches to mornings.
Turns out it wasn't a willpower thing. It was a where thing. So we built the quiet room we'd been looking for. Local enough to walk to.
This is Drop-in. Walk in to focus. Or just to be somewhere good.
You donât need another Zoom. You need a room.
Last Wednesday we hosted the first of our Claude Demo & Social events. Live demos, real conversations, free to attend. 70 locals in one room, working out what this new world looks like together.
The start of a new series on AI. Different topics, free to Drop-in.

Biased? Absolutely. But thereâs no productivity hack better than this. Not a coffee shop.
Not another a co-working space. Something new.
Weâve tried the apps. The time-blocking. The cold showers. Every time, we drift back to bad habits inside a week.
The only hack that keeps working is the same boring answer: other people. And good coffee.
Which is exactly why we built these.
Richmond (in this reel), Wandsworth and Clapton. Come work local.

This is what happens when you put builders and creators in the same room.
We opened the doors to Wandsworth for the day. Freelancers, founders, operators, and people doing cool things.
All in the same room, all getting on with it.
The kind of hum you only get when everyoneâs actually working. This is what we mean by work local. A neighbourhood club for the people building things near whey they live.
The demand was big. So we are doing it again on last Friday in May (29th).
Tickets in bio. They went fast this time.
Work Local.
We opened Drop-in to build the workspace weâd actually want to work from.
Every chair. Every lamp. The coffee machine. The wifi. The plants (real). The quiet corners. We wrote down every small thing that makes a workday feel good, then spent an unreasonable amount of time getting each one right.
Here are 7 of them.
Because the details are the whole thing. Thatâs why we call it built with intent.
Anything else you want to know about the spaces? Ask away.
Work clubs currently in Wandsworth (featured here), Richmond and Clapton. More to come.
