Wo Kem is an Andalusian DJ and vinyl collector based in Madrid who discovered electronic music at 17 and has since immersed himself in some of Europe’s most vibrant dancefloors.
As a dedicated selector, he has developed a distinctive sound where club-driven house meets Detroit techno, acid, 80s disco, new beat, breaks, and funk. His sets are shaped by a strong sense of musical storytelling and the warm, raw energy of vinyl, crafting immersive journeys built for the dancefloor.
With over six years of experience, Wo Kem has become a familiar name across Madrid’s club circuit, while also performing in cities such as Sevilla, Barcelona, Murcia, and Tenerife. His reach extends beyond Spain, with appearances in Rabat, Lyon, and Hamburg.
Beyond the booth, he is the founder and promoter behind Kommune Club and Recreo Madrid, two collectives that reflect his deep commitment to the underground scene and his drive to support independent electronic projects in the Spanish capital.

Raquel Mendiguren is a Madrid-based artist who moved from classical and world music to electronic beats.
Mendi’s sound unfolds through dark, hypnotic and emotional techno, guided by a refined intuition and deep awareness of the dancefloor. Her sets are a result of a precise balance between tension and release, to create a flow naturally waving between introspection and hypnosis.
As a selector, Mendi approches each performance as a process of connection, reading the atmosphere and translating emotion into rhythm.
Her music resonates with authenticity, depht and purpose.
We are now excited to host her for the first time at Masada.

For a long time, I stayed quiet about certain experiences because I thought they belonged to the private sphere.
Today, I understand that when private dynamics are used to condition a woman’s place in her own professional field, silence only protects the structure that allows it.
I am sharing this not to accuse, but to make visible something that is often normalized and rarely named.
And also to recognise the women who inspire me to keep building with care, strength, and conviction. 💜
On this day, we want to share reflections and inspirations from voices within the Drone community on sexism in music and what still needs to change.
Their words speak about tokenism, prejudice, invisibility, self-management, resilience, and the need for more honest support systems in electronic music.
This is not about quotas.
It is about recognition, respect, access, and structural change.
And thank you to everyone in the Drone community who took the time, and had the courage, to share their experiences and thoughts openly.

With the intention of questioning and transforming the internal structures of nightlife culture, at Drone we ask ourselves:
Who shapes the line-ups?
Who decides the narratives?
Who holds networks of influence?
How do agencies operate, and under which strategic models?
Under which values do we negotiate?
How is power exercised within the scene?
We are not simply asking for more women on line-ups.
We are asking for honest professional relationships, thoughtful curation, patience, and decisions guided by artistic criteria rather than personal dynamics.
Identity and emotion should never be used as tools of exclusion.
They should be spaces for connection, dialogue, and community building.
Because club culture is not only music.
It is also relationships, structures and responsibility.
