Back in college as struggling students on scholarships, Maame and I used to dream that we would find out that we had a long lost Rich Uncle or Rich Aunty who left us these massive inheritances and we didn’t even know they existed. And overnight we would become successful and rich…🤑💰and then we would build houses and solve poverty in 🇳🇬 and 🇬🇭!
Plot twist- this exact dream never came to be and those secret inheritances never panned out, but we did achieve many of our other dreams by the special grace of God. We are rich in so many ways, more than money, and our friendship has endured for over 30 years with so many ups and downs as life lifed!
Dr. Maame Dankwah is so much a part of who I became and THE person responsible for me becoming a born again. I love seeing her get her flowers for the countless blessings she gives and that our Alumni Association honored her lifetime of achievements and defying the odds. God’s plan might not match yours but it is always perfect. We might not have silver and gold but we have Jesus. 🙏🏾❤️

SWEET 16!!!!!! Today is Nissi Day! What a treasure Nissi is to the world. I always say that Nissi being here is truly a testimony of God’s undefeated grace and that is why we named her (Jehovah) Nissi- born victorious, a banner of victory. It is impossible to be around Nissi and not smile or laugh. She busted on the scene on April 12, 2010 and changed the game for everyone around her. God did His big one on this young lady! So proud of her and grateful for the gift of her!
