PCOS has a new name.
Polycystic Ovary Syndrome is now called Polyendocrine Metabolic Ovarian Syndrome (PMOS), a name that better reflects the metabolic, hormonal and reproductive features of this condition.
Our NSW Medical Director, @drmichaelcostello was one of the 10 international experts on the steering committee guiding the name change.
