Looking back fondly to the times when I had two functioning arms… (and two* feet) ☺️ I had finally begun nailing the flow flip and was getting it into a few combos, can’t wait to get strong again and get back on the line 🙌🏾
High quality capture as per usual from @knivesthai in one of my favorite WV spots @fourthmooncamp in Seneca 🥰🤸🏾♀️❤️

“…it’s a Highline thing.” And it’s an Instagram thing to remove your original audio and voiceovers 🤦🏾♀️
Last weekend was magical af. ✨💖Big shout out to all of the organizers, riggers, and friends new and old who brought the stoke, along with the perfect amount of chill for a few days of fabulous fun in the forest being fairies…I mean princesses! Special shout out to @fullmanda for bringing the extra special princess stoke 👸🏾🙌🏽🫶🏽 Dreams can come true 🥰🤸🏽♀️👗🤙🏾😘 love you all.

Been drilling flow and flow flip for tooooo many years now... It was time to take it to feet 👣 And it finally happened, on the last day of the last rigs of the season here in Agonda 🙌🏾🤙🏾🥰💖
A common pattern emerges from all of the sports I love, which we can also apply to life in general: Fall/fail -> Learn from it -> Get back up and do it again -> Repeat. Results might take time, and the progress might be hard to see, but one day it will click into place and have you wondering why you thought it was so hard 😆🙏🏾☺️
Growth takes time, patience, and lots of stoke!
Thnx for the vids (@_vaibhavgupta and @thanuja_kartik ) and also thanks to the whole Highline squad for showing up day after day for pirate rigs and official rigs and bringing the stoke and the love. ☝🏾💗 Allez laaaaaaaa
Bonus footy at the end of me walking (which maybe I am also starting to enjoy 🤷🏽♀️) and trying some other stuff to feet…after several bounces. Gotta start somewhere ☺️

A documentation video shot with iPhone about our recent highline rig in Agonda: grateful for my Highline crew for opening this addictive athletic world to me, this is our extreme sport therapy! I can just keep on writing; instead, I shall make a longer YouTube video and post it soon to share the nuances of what it is like to be/around high-liners.
(PS: Fuck you, Instagram, for not recommending videos over 3 minutes and fucking our attention span with snack content, give me full-fledged meals only!)

1. Last month we wanted to see how many parks we could skate in Baltimore in one day. Left Adam and Meli’s house with a list of five parks:
Aberdeen
Hazelwood
Skatepark of Baltimore
Jake’s inner harbour
Sandy hills/Landsdowne
Here’s how it went!
2. Aberdeen was a cool park with a nice flowy setup of ramps and a double bowl with a waterfall. This was my first experience in a full bowl ever, and my first time trailing anyone, and we had a lot of fun there. Despite reaching around noon it was only mildly mealty when we left for the next park due to high children-on-scooter traffic.
3. The next stop was Hazelwood skate park on the outskirts of Baltimore. Another super flowy park with a highlight of roll in ramps on the shorty bowl area 🥰 Dropping in still scares the begezes out of me 🤦🏾♀️ but rolling in is just fine 😁
4. A vid of me rolling in at Hazelwood (thanks Meli!)
5. Skatepark of Baltimore was an older park, and another park with a bowl that I student a lot of time (falling) in getting the hang of finding lines. The ramps were also fun here and they had a little “saucer” in the middle which I tried to ollie into. But I don’t know how to ollie. (No vid of that)
We had planned on five parks, and skipped the park in the harbour bc we really wanted to get to landsdowne and it looked like there were lights at the harbour spot, and Landsdowne closed at sunset which was in less than one hour when we left SPB. It’s so hard to stop when you find a nice line…
6. We then had to kinda race the sun to get to Landsdowne bowl in Sandy Hills park before it closed at sunset. We made it. Landsdowne is the oldest municipal skatepark in the USA! It’s got a snake track going down a hill and one of those old school metal boulderer’s area (oh yeah, street and park skaters are boulderers, bowl skaters are top ropers, and vert skaters are lead climbers; this was also decided that day). I think I want to go back here when I’m not so tired and beat up from bowls 🙃
7. We were in Baltimore. So here are some snippets of stuff in Baltimore. We ate empanadas.

Finally got out to climb at Safe Harbor with @adamzhutch3 and @meli_mystic 😁☺️ It’s a super fun crag on the banks of the Susquehanna in Pennsylvania. There’s a really good mix of sport, trad, and top rope here as well as a good selection of grades and styles. After leading a pretty straightforward 5.8 I decided to hop on this route on TR before trying to lead it. lol. So glad I did. The name is correct, all of the clips are at the most terrifying spots and I’m glad I went on TR and didn’t end up leading it. Maybe next time. 🧗🏽♀️💚
