The time has come to put my music out into the world. If you know me, you know I’ve always loved it. I couldn’t ignore it anymore. It’s been sitting in my head for years, like a constant inner voice. I’d hate to go through life and never share what I actually feel through music. It’s taken time. A lot of time. Just figuring out my own sound, getting to a place where I’m genuinely happy with what I’m making. And like most producers and artists, there’s always that fear. Fear of judgement. Or that OCD feeling that it’s never finished, never quite ready. But at some point you realise that’s not the point. I was playing this arp, looked over at Sunny and said, ā€œbro… I can’t believe this is me.ā€ That was the moment. I knew I was ready to put something out. The more I’ve talked to other musicians, the more I’ve realised music is therapy. Singing, writing, getting it out of your head… it actually changes something in you. That’s when I started putting pen to paper properly. This track feels like me. French, plucky, housey. Stevie. This year is simple Put the work out and move on. We’ll always think we can do better. That never stops. But being happy with where you’re at right now… that’s the real win. That’s the journey. The hours. The test of your character, your decisions, your emotions. Shout out to anyone making something and sitting on it. Don’t wait forever. Just put it out. #housemusic #newmusic

šŸ“I still love the story of how I got this client… I genuinely loved Alba already and drank it (responsibly) then started taking cute pics of it and tagging Alba. Thing’s progressed in the dm’s, we all linked IRL and the incredibly talented Anna took us onboard as their new content team, some years ago. When you be your true authentic self, work with similar tasteful people, you put in more effort to things, because you already know the result is going to be gas. It’s no longer selling. It doesn’t need to be sold. It’s just getting the word out. Still believe the best way for a product to succeed is by having a good product and the people decide it’s word of mouth-able. Bright fun new photography for Alba, very cool to still work with team Alba. I love pink. I love tequila. I love Alba. Match made in heaven and how good is it. Congrats on a banger new flavour, Raspberry Barayyy, get amongst! šŸ’•šŸ’“ #studio #studiophotography #canonr5 #canon #tequila

Does your website imagery stand out from the rest? Or do you take it yourself. There’s no right or wrong. Only what you can do. But it will, I repeat, will be judged and perceived as a touchpoint of your brand. Invest in professional photographers and your products will stand out from the rest. Time to step it up? Some very detailed product photography for a dedicated kiwi client Kenzzi šŸ™ŒšŸ»

Kodak Moments šŸ“ø @lanewayfestnz on film for the first time in gosh maybe 20 Years. I once had 8 films rinsed from Europe in an x ray machine even with triple sock wraps. I never wanted to shoot film again. Honestly, so much fun. Knowing you have limited shots. Choosing your moments. Kodak moments. In reflection, film is far more artistic when shooting purely by limitations of price. Limiting yourself to 36 shots was fun. Nice to go vintage, new perspective. šŸŽžļø

I’ve been different since birth. Call it unique if you want. I’ve worked in the creative industry my whole life, and at 38 I can honestly say I’m happy doing what I do, an artist operating inside a corporate world. I see it as a challenge. Learn how people think, understand psychology, help them win. Art and work don’t have to be separate. It took me a long time to realise not every brand needs to be the coolest designer brand in the room. Most brands are built for everyday people. People want things that work. They want clarity. They want transparency. People also like working with people who think alike. Push boundaries, but stay grounded. Relevance matters. Fun matters. Making marketing feel human again matters. Strong brands don’t happen overnight. They take critical thinking, strategy, and time. What looks ā€œobviousā€ usually comes from months of work behind the scenes. I’m proud of two brands in particular, Vibe Coffee and De Gustibus. Both are on supermarket shelves. Both stand on their own. That didn’t happen by accident. You can’t rush a brand. You can’t fake authenticity. Long-lasting brands come from strong creative, honest clients, and products that actually deserve attention. That foundation is non-negotiable. Don’t cut corners. People are sharper now. Use AI, it’s a tool, but process still matters. Craft still matters. People care how things are made. If you’re tired of working with the wrong people, or you want to build a brand, campaign, shoot, or site that actually works, DRMGRP might be your people. We don’t chase work. The work speaks. No tall poppy shit. You win, we win. Simple as that. Best of luck for 2026. Wagwan.
