The time has come to put my music out into the world.
If you know me, you know Iāve always loved it. I couldnāt ignore it anymore. Itās been sitting in my head for years, like a constant inner voice.
Iād hate to go through life and never share what I actually feel through music.
Itās taken time. A lot of time. Just figuring out my own sound, getting to a place where Iām genuinely happy with what Iām making. And like most producers and artists, thereās always that fear. Fear of judgement. Or that OCD feeling that itās never finished, never quite ready.
But at some point you realise thatās not the point.
I was playing this arp, looked over at Sunny and said, ābro⦠I canāt believe this is me.ā That was the moment. I knew I was ready to put something out.
The more Iāve talked to other musicians, the more Iāve realised music is therapy. Singing, writing, getting it out of your head⦠it actually changes something in you. Thatās when I started putting pen to paper properly.
This track feels like me.
French, plucky, housey. Stevie.
This year is simple
Put the work out and move on.
Weāll always think we can do better. That never stops. But being happy with where youāre at right now⦠thatās the real win.
Thatās the journey. The hours. The test of your character, your decisions, your emotions.
Shout out to anyone making something and sitting on it.
Donāt wait forever. Just put it out. #housemusic #newmusic
šI still love the story of how I got this client⦠I genuinely loved Alba already and drank it (responsibly) then started taking cute pics of it and tagging Alba. Thingās progressed in the dmās, we all linked IRL and the incredibly talented Anna took us onboard as their new content team, some years ago. When you be your true authentic self, work with similar tasteful people, you put in more effort to things, because you already know the result is going to be gas. Itās no longer selling. It doesnāt need to be sold. Itās just getting the word out. Still believe the best way for a product to succeed is by having a good product and the people decide itās word of mouth-able. Bright fun new photography for Alba, very cool to still work with team Alba. I love pink. I love tequila. I love Alba. Match made in heaven and how good is it. Congrats on a banger new flavour, Raspberry Barayyy, get amongst! šš #studio #studiophotography #canonr5 #canon #tequila

Kodak Moments šø @lanewayfestnz on film for the first time in gosh maybe 20
Years. I once had 8 films rinsed from Europe in an x ray machine even with triple sock wraps. I never wanted to shoot film again. Honestly, so much fun. Knowing you have limited shots. Choosing your moments. Kodak moments. In reflection, film is far more artistic when shooting purely by limitations of price. Limiting yourself to 36 shots was fun. Nice to go vintage, new perspective. šļø
Living my dream šļø 2026 on š You the head chef, so you decide to cook. Proudly now working with @yamahamotornz - Pre production I had to include a wide ass lens, atmos and water with reflections. Art can be work. Canāt stop wonāt stop. #skurttt #photography #yamaha #canon @canonanz #canonr5 shoutout @samuel_j_lynch š¹
āLock in, in 26ā Been hearin a bit. Define your boundaries. Donāt quit. Make it the year, it, actually happens - legit. We only hear for a bit. Might be their time to spit. Make the tracks, post the shit, make them stacks, whats your curse or distract, pick ya path, and commit šøš½š
Iāve been different since birth. Call it unique if you want.
Iāve worked in the creative industry my whole life, and at 38 I can honestly say Iām happy doing what I do, an artist operating inside a corporate world. I see it as a challenge. Learn how people think, understand psychology, help them win. Art and work donāt have to be separate.
It took me a long time to realise not every brand needs to be the coolest designer brand in the room. Most brands are built for everyday people. People want things that work. They want clarity. They want transparency.
People also like working with people who think alike. Push boundaries, but stay grounded. Relevance matters. Fun matters. Making marketing feel human again matters.
Strong brands donāt happen overnight. They take critical thinking, strategy, and time. What looks āobviousā usually comes from months of work behind the scenes.
Iām proud of two brands in particular, Vibe Coffee and De Gustibus. Both are on supermarket shelves. Both stand on their own. That didnāt happen by accident.
You canāt rush a brand. You canāt fake authenticity. Long-lasting brands come from strong creative, honest clients, and products that actually deserve attention. That foundation is non-negotiable.
Donāt cut corners. People are sharper now. Use AI, itās a tool, but process still matters. Craft still matters. People care how things are made.
If youāre tired of working with the wrong people, or you want to build a brand, campaign, shoot, or site that actually works, DRMGRP might be your people. We donāt chase work. The work speaks.
No tall poppy shit. You win, we win. Simple as that.
Best of luck for 2026. Wagwan.
