It’s time! We’re excited to adorn another wall with the real miracles and real stories that make our clinic so special - yours! We invite our patients to dm their favourite baby pic, or drop it into comments below. 🙏🏼 The more we get, the larger the wall! These walls symbolise the strength, resilience and courage behind all these tiny faces; of fighting and overcoming one of the toughest challenges life throws at us. They are a symbols of HOPE for all our patients showing-up for their dream, and a reminder to our team what we are fighting for everyday. Please share this post so no one misses out! We can’t wait for a brand new WALL OF HOPE @centreofreproductivemedicine coming soon. #wallofhope #infertility #fertilityjourney #fertility #ttc

Some interesting pull outs from the latest data just published in September this year. Please swipe >> let’s see what’s going on… ANZARD is the national fertility database that tracks every assisted reproduction cycle across Australia and New Zealand. It’s how we know success rates, safety trends, and how fertility care is evolving — and it’s one of the most transparent systems in the world. @centreofreproductivemedicine

Excited to receive this book and can’t wait to dive in. 🤿 Thank you so much Belinda Kirkpatrick @bknaturopathy 🙏🏼 About this book… “Healthy Hormones is about making small and realistic changes to help your body function at its optimum level. Naturopath Belinda Kirkpatrick helps you understand your hormones and provides easy ways to manage symptoms, hormonal conditions and fertility through diet and lifestyle. Expert nutritional advice and lifestyle tips are combined with answers to the many questions that women have asked Belinda during a decade of clinical practice. Healthy Hormones features 50 deliciously healthy family recipes, specially created, styled and photographed by recipe developer Ainsley Johnstone. The dishes are tailored around hormone-balancing ingredients and nutrient-dense fertility foods.” It’s expert advice that can help us make practical daily choices balancing scientific explanations with nourishing food truths - and I’m all for it! We want to understand hormones, optimise hormonal balance, reduce unwanted symptoms and take control of our health 🙏🏼 well done Belinda 👏 @centreofreproductivemedicine #fertility #ttc #hormones #womenshealth #naturopathy

DNA Fragmentation in sperm may be associated with poorer outcomes including poor embryo development and higher miscarriage rate. The good news is that we can dramatically improve sperm quality. We don’t just want to do this at 45, we want to do it at every age!!! RejuvaSperm is a prescribed compounded supplement I developed with Monash IVF Pharmacy that supports: ☑️ Protection of sperm DNA from oxidative stress. ☑️ Improved sperm count, motility, shape and viability. ☑️ Enhanced mitochondrial energy production for stronger sperm movement. ☑️ Healthy testosterone balance and testicular cell support. ☑️ Hormonal balance and stress regulation. ☑️ Optimal sperm membrane integrity and DNA synthesis. Each compounded capsule contains a targeted blend of antioxidants, adaptogens, vitamins and amino acids, selected to support sperm health, energy metabolism and cellular protection. If you are a patient, please contact our rooms for your prescription @centreofreproductivemedicine For external patients, please contact Bespoke Longevity Medicine to arrange a Telehealth appointment with Dr Sarah. Thrilled to introduce our next registrar, the amazing Dr Maddie Ball. Let’s make her feel at home here at family CORMS ❤️ Dr Ball has trained across some of Australia’s busiest tertiary hospitals, including Gold Coast University Hospital, as well as regional centres throughout Tasmania; experiences that have shaped both her clinical breadth and calm approach to your care. Drawn to the deeply human side of medicine, she values the privilege of caring for women through some of the most significant and vulnerable chapters of their lives. She has a particular interest in fertility medicine and the rapidly evolving science helping modern families come to life. Our patients are already appreciating her warmth, grounded nature, thoughtful communication style and ability to make complex situations feel a little less overwhelming. 🥹💕 Outside the clinic, life is considerably less controlled 😉 😆 shared between a busy toddler, two dogs, ongoing renovations, and attempting to tire everyone out at the beach before bedtime negotiations begin. 😅 Dr Ball is a beautiful addition to the team and we look forward to the next 3 months with Maddie. @centreofreproductivemedicine #registrar #fertility #infertility #ttc #welcometothefamily

Back from Beijing and I look forward to sharing some of the research covered. Today, a topic I’m very passionate about - supporting the mind and the heart through this journey! The emotional burden of infertility actively undermines the capacity of many women to make sustained lifestyle changes, including weight loss and physical activity, that can improve the chances of becoming pregnant. Recent studies show the gap between lifestyle recommendations and action among women suffering the emotional stress of infertility was not a matter of willpower, but psychology. Up to 60% of women struggling with fertility experience mental health challenges including anger, sadness, isolation, shame and guilt. Only about 20% seek professional psychological support. Most internalise blame for their inability to conceive and shame predicts emotional eating and health care avoidance. Women seeking fertility treatment show significantly higher levels of anxiety, depression and psychiatric disorders than men, and the severity of these conditions is influenced by the cause and duration of infertility, the treatment type and number of failed IVF cycles. Evidence from randomised controlled trials supports the integration of cognitive behavioural therapy and mindfulness-based interventions alongside lifestyle programs. Evidence-based, integrated lifestyle and psychological support is vital in helping women to overcome barriers to better outcomes in fertility treatment! They demonstrate significant reductions in depression, anxiety and infertility-specific distress as well as improved quality of life. Effective support requires ❤️reframing lifestyle change as self-care ❤️screening routinely for psychological distress throughout the treatment cycle ❤️avoiding stigmatising language ❤️embedding mental health provision within fertility services as standard practice. 🙏🏼 Please reach out for support and don’t suffer in silence. There is no ‘normal’ way to handle this journey. We are here for you. @centreofreproductivemedicine #infertility #ttc #fertility #fertilityjourney #infertilityawareness

Learning from some of the world’s leading minds in reproductive medicine. 🇨🇳 Yesterday I toured the renowned Peking University Third Hospital, home to mainland China’s FIRST IVF baby born in 1988, and now recognised as one of the largest and most advanced reproductive medicine centres in the world. More than 20,000 cycles a year, the hospital is internationally respected for its work in IVF, reproductive genetics, fertility preservation, complex infertility care and reproductive health research. I also toured the State Key Laboratory of Female Fertility, a nationally significant research centre driving innovation in female fertility, embryo science, reproductive genetics, fertility preservation, and advanced assisted reproductive technologies. The laboratory collaborates on cutting-edge global fertility research and translational medicine. Medicine never stands still and neither should we! Behind every conference, laboratory tour, and international collaboration is one goal: Bringing the latest evidence, technology, and thinking back to my patients in Australia. Back to you! @centreofreproductivemedicine @aspire_reproduction #ivf #fertility #infertility #fertilityspecialist #reproductivemedicine

Found these cute little rascals and some beautiful words hiding on our tagged page 😎😎 “Twin life. Some days are just full on. Always moving between two little humans who both need us at the same time - sharing ourselves the best we can, together. It’s chaotic in a way you don’t really understand until you’re living it. But in the middle of it all, there’s something really special we get to watch every day. Two little humans who have had each other since the moment they were born. Best friends already. It’s hard, it’s full, it’s relentless at times... but we’re doing it together. And there’s a lot of love in the middle of the chaos. We wouldn’t change it for the world” @moniiquelindsay @joelindsay 😍 you are doing an incredible job. Shoutout to all our mums and dads doing #twinlife 🙌🏼👏 @centreofreproductivemedicine #twins #twinsofinstagram #miracletwins #twin
