Three years of Driving the Human in review. 2023 marked the last phase of the research initiative Driving the Human, which started in 2020, leaving behind a trail of remarkable accomplishments, great memories, and many planted seeds for collaborations yet to come. An in-depth exploration of the project can be found in the book Driving the Human: Seven Prototypes for Eco-social Renewal, distributed worldwide and on sale online. Our website will remain as a digital archive of all the moments documented during these three years, filled with photos and videos of our events, as well as information about the 21 visions and 7 prototypes that were part of the Driving the Human story. (Links in bio) @forecast_platform , as the initiator of Driving the Human, is working with established and new partners to transfer the program’s methodology and learnings into future collaborations. The legacy of Driving the Human will materialize in a different shape and form; we’ll keep you posted! Beautiful video by @studio_yukiko

Xiaoyu Iris Qu (曲晓宇) is the project author of "Do AIs Dream of Climate Chaos: Symbiotic AI". The project investigates the contradictions in a machine learning system. Given sufficient data, how would AI compute its existence? Last days to experience this installation at the exhibition "Driving the Human: Seven Prototypes for Eco-social Renewal," third part: "Speculative Ecosystems and Interspecies Collaborations." Until November 26, 2023, at ZKM. @zkmkarlsruhe Find more info at the link in bio! Video by @stephan_talneau

Hyeseon Jeong and Seongmin Yuk are the project authors of Backpack of Wings: Modern Mythology. The project represents speculative future scenarios, which are collisions and integrations between a bio-geotracking technology for wild animals in scientific fields and an animism in seismic disaster myths in East Asia. Experience "Backpack of Wings: Modern Mythology" at the exhibition "Driving the Human: Seven Prototypes for Eco-social Renewal," third part: “Speculative Ecosystems and Interspecies Collaborations." This exhibition runs until November 26, 2023, at @zkmkarlsruhe . Find more info at the link in bio! Video by @stephan_talneau
